LOTS of suction cups, guess that's what holds it in place, until the suction cups let loose.
This sunshade set fits our truck really well and does exactly what it’s supposed to when it comes to blocking light and heat. The 3-piece design (windshield and both side windows) lines up nicely. Once in place, it makes a noticeable difference in keeping the cab cooler, especially on hot days. The material feels durable but still lightweight, and I like that it holds its shape instead of flopping around.
These seem to do a good job cutting down on the UV and heat. We’ve noticed that the interior stays more comfortable, and it probably helps to protect the seats from the sun. It also works well for privacy—great if you need to rest in the cab or keep things out of sight. In colder weather, it does seem that it would help to hold in some warmth and reduce the frost buildup, which would be a nice bonus.
The only downside we’ve run into is with the suction cups. There are plenty included, which is good in theory, but some of them don’t stick as well as expected and occasionally come loose. It might help to dampen them slightly or making sure that the glass is really clean before attaching, but it would be nice if they held more consistently right out of the box.
Overall, it’s a solid set that performs well for both heat blocking and privacy, with just a small issue on the suction cups that could use some improvement.
Not just for big trucks. I have a 26 yr old 4runner!
I got these shades for use in my 2000 Toyota 4runner. I have Belgian tervuren dogs & live in the desert. These shades are going to help immensely with the intense summer sun and heat. I don’t have garage parking available so these will come in handy for preserving my interior as well. There are a little suction cups that make the shade stay up and in place the actual fabric is lightweight, but thick and appears to be a nice quality.
I’m very happy with these.
Great for the summer weathe
I purchased this 3piece sunshade set for my International LT truck, and it has been a very useful upgrade. The fit for the windshield and side windows is surprisingly accurate, and once everything is in place, it provides a solid amount of coverage. The thermal insulation works well; the cab stays noticeably cooler during the day, and it helps block out early morning sunlight when resting. The material feels durable and wellmade. The reflective outer layer provides strong UV protection, and the insulation on the inside helps keep the temperature down. I also appreciate that the pieces fold and store easily without taking up much space in the cab. For drivers who spend a lot of time on the road, this is a nice addition for comfort and privacy. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the side window covers require a little adjusting to get the best fit. They stay in place, but it takes a moment to position them properly. Not a major issue, but something to be aware of. Overall, this is a great sunshade set for International LT, MV, and Lonestar models. It offers strong UV protection, keeps the cab cooler, and makes downtime more comfortable. Definitely a worthwhile purchase for daily drivers and longhaul use.
Works great!
Got this for my work truck and it works great! Had to use the flash to see it clearly. Was a bit of a pain to put all the suction cups in, could probably make do with just the top and sides, but other than that, this cover works great! Comes with a carrying bag to store all the covers in. highly recommend to keep the cab cool.
