Nice mirror, works well but does have some design quirks
This is a big mirror that has very functional illumination. It has a clean distortion free surface and looks nice. It does have a couple limitations because of its design which might or might not be an issue depending on how it is desired to be installed. The biggest is that it has a frame and electrical box on the back that will space the actual mirror glass away from the wall it’s mounted on, unless one makes a recess in the wall. It also means you get a lot of light from around the outside of the mirror, not just through the translucent white border.
The description says that it can be worked with a zombie-phone app, I did not test this. The buttons on the mirror work well and easily, but it means the mirror needs to be placed where they can be reached… The defog button does not have any sort of indication that it is on, but since it automatically shuts off after a few minutes this isn’t a big deal.
Mounting is fairly typical – put two screws in the wall at the proper spacing and hook the mirror over it. The power cord is black so might be hard to conceal. It comes with a couple of heat shrink tube splices to do a hard-wire connection, but they look like they were made for very thin wires, I’m not sure they would be usable with typical US 12-14 AWG house wiring.
Such a pretty mirro
I am obsessed with these types of mirrors and was so happy to finally have one. First off, it came packaged really well and came perfect with no scratches. The lighting gets nice and bright just as you would expect and has different light settings. I do find switching between the light settings to be a little more challenging than I would have liked. I think I would have preferred a third button rather than having to long hold the power button as can be seen in the video, it sometimes doesn’t read right. I like that the mirror comes with screws and anchors already which makes installation easier. Seeing as how this mirror does need to be plugged in though, I am finding it challenging to hang it without seeing the cord sticking out but that is a personal issue and no fault of the product. If you love these mirrors like I do, you will not be disappointed.
