Cute Keyboard
This keyboard is very nice and cute – I got the pink one with the milk linear switches. The sound is so satisfying. I’ve gotten a lot of compliments from my team members in the office :). The only downside I would say, is that it does not have a Ctrl key on the right of the space bar. Usually keyboards would have 2 ctrl keys, this keyboard only has one. But it’s not that big of an issue. All in all this keyboard is super cute and I am so happy with my purchase :).

I have always liked yunzii keyboards, their build quality was always solid and I have always liked the themes they do on their keyboards. So when I saw this one with the beige and white and grey and blue keycaps which gives a old retro vibes look and the cute cat volume knob cover I had to try it out!
The build quality is very good the plastic casing has a really solid feel and it weighs around 2.5lbs so it is not a lightweight keyboard which I am glad it’s not because I do like a solid feeling keyboard if it’s always going to be on my desk. Typing feels really nice with the candy linear switches which has a smooth feel and a creamy sound profile which is the trend nowadays what people like and the gasket mount also helps with that also, the volume knob works really well and I like the clicking sound it makes when turning it, and the silicone cat cap is a very nice touch and cute and they also included a normal volume knob cap and extra keycaps, but I really don’t see anyone switching out the cute cat knob because I love it!
RGB lighting is nice and bright and has a lot of good effects you can choose from, I also like the small light bar under the page down key which is not big or overwhelming, and as you can see while the keycaps it comes with does not have shine through which they still good keycaps, after awhile i added pink translucent keycaps and the backlighting on this keyboard gives them more than enough light to shine through them which looks really cool! Another nice touch is the lighted ring going around the USB port, while it’s not needed it still nice that it has it.
Setting up this keyboard is as simple as any other wireless keyboard, it pairs really fast on Bluetooth and it is very simple switching to 2.4ghz and wire mode with the switch on the back. Battery life has been great and is around what they say it lasts, which is around 42hours give or take with the backlight on and up to 260hours with the backlight which I havin’t tested that to know because I like having the lights on all my keyboards when I use them.
I have no cons at all to say about this keyboard, I love how solid it is and the way it looks and types, Only thing I wish they included was another black cat knob which I would love to also have, or if there was a way to get a set of them would have been great! Value wise I think its good in my opinion because it is a nice built keyboard. Overall I love it and it gets a solid 5 stars from me

Really great keyboard. Totally solid. The feel and sound are great.
I wanted it quiet, so I replaced the switches with TTC Frozen Silent V2s. It’s totally silent now. The plate is soft, so it can be a little difficult to snap new switches into place. You can gently pull up the plate with a plastic pry tool while you push in the switch to avoid needing a ton of force.
I visibly damaged some of the keycaps while pulling them, but this was my first time ever replacing keys. It was fine once I started using the key puller at a diagonal and pulling as gently as possible.
The RGB LEDs are south facing, so any shine through keycaps you plan on using need to have center or side legends.
I love the cat knob.
I had no issues with the wireless connection or Bluetooth.
The VIA software was a little confusing at first, but you just have to enable the Design tab and then upload the json file YUNZII provides on their website, then you can connect to the keyboard and configure stuff.
This Yunzii B98 QMK wireless mechanical gaming keyboard is truly beautiful in person! The light blue color of the sides and back is even better in person than what I was expecting. It has a nice brightness to it, it’s not a dull or gray blue, no, this light blue is a very pale blue that’s also bright. This mechanical keyboard is hot swappable, I was able to switch out they keycaps that came with it (they were Cherry profile) and I installed my MOA keycaps (lemon sea salt set bought here on Amazon) very easily. The keycaps pulled out easily with my keycap puller, it did not pull up the switches with it like with some keyboards I’ve bought before. By the way, when you choose one of these Yunzii keyboards, they give you a choice between Milk or Candy switches, and that just means a choice of color, as the “Milk” means the switches under the keycaps are white in color, while “Candy” means the switches under the keycaps will be pink in color. This keyboard has great flawless connectivity, it connected to my computer very easily and quickly. The Yunzii website is also pretty easy to work with, I was able to tweak the brightness of my keyboard’s white light to a more toned down brightness. This keyboard sounds so good too! The linear switches are perfect for me, I’m getting that nice thocky sound when typing, it’s so satisfying. I can’t recommend this keyboard enough, I love it so much! It also came with so many extras, a cord in case you want to use the keyboard in wired mode, an extra knob, a keycap puller, extra keycaps, etc. Overall, this keyboard is well worth its price point. It’s the cutest, it works flawlessly, the packaging and extras, all make for a super deal! Don’t wait, get this now, like today, and make sure you have picked out your favorite set of keycaps to install, because you’re gonna want to make this keyboard even more beautiful and custom than it already is!
