Product description

This is a nice option if you want a simple, nostalgic way to play CDs while still having some modern features. The retro-style design looks great on a desk or shelf, and the built-in stereo speakers provide clear sound for casual listening at home. It’s easy to use and supports several playback options, including CDs, USB audio files, and AUX connections, making it versatile for different music sources. it even comes with an aux cord.
One feature I really like is the Bluetooth capability, which allows the player to either connect to your phone to play music through its speakers or transmit audio to Bluetooth headphones or speakers. It also comes with a remote control and rechargeable battery, making it convenient to use around the house without needing a complicated setup, although the compact size makes it easy to move around the house. Overall, it’s a fun mix of vintage style and modern functionality for anyone who still enjoys listening to CDs.
CD players aren’t very common anymore, so when I came across this Y11 Retro CD Player, I picked it up for my daughter since she has a collection of CDs that have never really been used. Most kids her age stream music, so this felt like a fun and practical way to bring those discs back to life.
The design is one of the standout features. It has a retro look that resembles a classic stereo turntable, and it looks great sitting on a desk or shelf. The RGB lighting adds a nice ambient touch without being too distracting.
Functionality is where this unit really shines. It supports multiple playback options including CD, Bluetooth, USB, AUX, and optical (SPDIF), which makes it very versatile. It handled full-size and mini CDs without any issues. It supports common formats like CD, CD-R, MP3, WMA, and WAV, so it should work with most standard discs people have at home.
Bluetooth is a nice bonus. It works both as a receiver, so you can stream music from a phone, tablet, or laptop, and as a transmitter to connect to wireless headphones or speakers. Pairing is straightforward, and the connection is stable within a typical indoor range of around 30 feet, depending on obstacles. Speed and responsiveness are what you’d expect from standard Bluetooth audio, no noticeable lag for music playback.
The remote control is simple and easy to use. It lets you control playback, adjust volume, skip tracks, and switch modes from across the room, which is convenient if you’re using it as part of a small home setup.
In terms of sound quality, the built-in dual HiFi speakers are decent for casual listening. They’re clear enough for everyday use, but don’t expect deep bass or room-filling sound. It definitely performs better when connected to higher-quality external speakers through AUX or optical output.
It’s also compact and portable, with a rechargeable design that makes it easy to move around the house or even take on trips.
As for reliability, it seems well-built and consistent so far, with smooth playback and no issues reading discs. Everything feels intuitive, so it’s easy to set up and start using right away.
If you’re looking for a stylish, easy-to-use CD player with modern features, this is a great option, especially if you plan to pair it with better speakers for improved sound.
Does what it’s supposed to and has a nice set of features. Setup is easy, plays CDs and Bluetooth audio without any issues. The design also looks good on a desk and doesn’t take up much space. The main downside is the built-in speakers, which are pretty poor and lack clarity, making music sound flat. It’s much better when connected to external speakers or headphones. Works fine and has good battery life, but the speaker quality holds it back.
Okay the last time I had a portable CD player it was a boombox and much larger than this. I recently dug out a bunch of music CDs buried in a box and realized I do not have a CD player, not a standalone one anyway. Yes we can hook up our phones to Bluetooth speakers and play music from our phones but that takes so much time to sit and choose songs or load playlists, simply throwing a CD in and hitting play takes a few seconds and then you can get back to what you were doing.
The controls are very easy to figure out. The unit itself is lightweight. The size is cute, you could easily put this on a shelf. I had CDs that I burned like you would make a mixed tape and they played just fine so for those of you with your own CDs that you’ve created this should play them without any problems if you formatted them correctly.
The sound quality for a small standalone unit like this was actually impressive. I love it for the kitchen, I can pop a CD in and start making dinner and not have to touch it again, Just let it play.
The smoke colored plastic cover keeps dust off of the insides which is very important with electronics. This is a really cute little retro CD player, would make a great gift for that middle-aged friend that grew up with actually playing CDs if not records and actual tapes. The price is decent and the quality is overall in my opinion good.
Fantastic Bluetooth transmi
Thinkya Y11 cd player with transmit Bluetooth in one word is:-FANTASTIC!
Very easy to connect to my Bose Max Speaker and when I play my extensive CD collection on Thinkya Y 11 and transmit sound to Bose Max the sound is the most outstanding you will ever hear- songs come to life all over again and play as loud as you want using Bose Max volume control- do not need to use Thinkya volume control at all.
Best and easy setup—just connect 3.5 aux cable from Bose max speaker to Thinkya headphone port.
Price is very reasonable for this outstanding Bluetooth transmit cd player in a market where a cd player with outstanding transmit ability- excellent transmit is near impossible to find but this unit has it.
