Perfect fitment, easy to install (less than 3 minutes)
As all the reviews say, the suede material fits nicely with the black interiors of my 2017 Tesla Model X. However, the item that I received did not have the U-shaped notch to hug around the rear view mirror in the front center of the screen. The sunshade leaves a gap between the visors and the shade itself. I wish that it was a bit more material to come down to the level of the rear view glass. The clips kept on falling as I was trying to mount the clips, but I was able to finally get them to install and they seem to work ok for now, although I feel that the clips could be snapping on the rim of the sunshade a bit better. The suction cups are a good idea. I am still confused because there are suction cups that are of transparent material with screws to hold the suction cups. Then there some black color suction cups, and I just could not figure out why they have both the transparent color ones and the black color ones (with no screws). If anyone figured out the reason, please let me know.
We were pleasantly surprised by the look and fit of this sunshade. We ordered it to put up in our brand new Tesla Model X and it was easy enough to install using the clips provided. It has that beautiful black suede look and feel, which we love. It also does an excellent job of blocking out the sun even though it is relatively light in weight and not thick. We had a factory made sunscreen up before this one, and we actually prefer this one more as it both looks nicer and blocks the sun better. Overall, we are very happy with the quality and value of this product. We would recommend it to any Model X owners.
