Very enjoyable movie
If you are a Wizard of Oz fan this is a great movie as the finale of Wicked movie series. Such great singing and acting plus reading closed caption during the movie is helpful. Surprised at ending!

Great Movie with Lots of Bonus Material
We saw it in the theater first, but then I got the Blu-ray for my wife for Valentine’s Day and she was quite happy. I know it will be steaming soon, but the Blu-ray has lots of bonus features, so add those to this great movie and it’s definitely worth getting.
Love the added songs
I’ve read the book, seen the Broadway play, and now I’ve watched both movies.
I think they did an amazing job with this movie and I’m glad they stuck close to the play. However, I loved the addition of the two songs, making the movie slightly different than the play.
Good story continuation but a little sad
A fine film but in my opinion not as good as ‘Wicked’. It’s a somewhat darker story, as expected, but well worth the watch. The music, chorography and acting were all up to ‘Wicked’s’ standards. Hope you Enjoy!
What a great movie!!
I love, love, love this movie!!! I thought this was even better than the first Wicked movie. What a great story and I am just in love with Elphaba! Cynthia Erivo did an outstanding job with her character. The chemistry between her character and Ariana’s Glinda was so wonderful and brought tears to my eyes in several scenes. Love it.
The 4K Ultra even is sharper and higher resolution than the IMAX at the theater. The bonuses give terrific insight as to the difficult, and amazing effort it took to make this movie. Since it is a DVD, unlike streaming which comes with it, I totally own it instead of having a license to see it. This means I can loan it to friends trade it, etc. if I wish to. It also will not disappear if Amazon decides in the future to remove it from their library.
Having it show up around awards time created anger, stress and disappointmen given the effort and creative genius of John Chu and the effort that he personally put into this along with the cast. Wicked For Good was mostly snubbed for awards that according to one of the members of a nominating commitee posted on the Daily Mail and New York Post, it was snubbed for the public relationship between Arina Grande and Cynthia Eviro that supposedly “creeped people out.” This reflects to me that the movie was not being judged on its merits of those voting for the awards, but by the personal relationship between cast members and reflecting on their personal lives. I find this to be outrageous and disgusting that the personal lives of some of the cast members should influence the voting of the quality and skills of the movie and its cast. As such I have lost all respect for the movie awards will not be watching them. What this does is to demonstrate for me the politics, and prejudice still rampant in the movie industry.
As such I believe that both Wickeds will follow the path of “It’s a Wonderful Life” which was panned at its orginal showing, and decades from now will be regarded as as one of the best movies ever made much like Wonderful Life with most of the current award winners likely all but forgotten.
