Excellent drone storage.
Great case. I am oddly both a fan, and not a fan of the latches. I like that they have the button to keep them from coming undone accidentally, but that same feature can sometimes get in the way when latching them closed.
The foam is cut really well, nice and clean. I like the density of it over most “pick and pluck” foams.

Manufacturers of waterproof cases are finally paying attention to what the public wants. This case just underscores how well they’re doing it. This is a case for a drone, control equipment, and accessories. The construction is rugged and the seals are very well done. The lip which mates with the rubber gasket is smooth to the touch with no burrs. There is a pressure relief valve, but not the kind one turns to equalize pressure. This is commonly known as a “burp valve” in that it only releases internal pressure to the outside … but blocks external pressure from getting in. If the box is subjected to low pressure, it will burp out the inside pressure … but upon returning to high pressure, it could be a bear to open it. The sides might indeed be bowed in if carried on a commercial aircraft when it lands. I’ve had this happen to me before, but fortunately that box had a twist equalization valve and it swiftly returned to its original shape.
The catches have buttons to enable them to be released … a very nice touch. There are two holes in the lips of the box and the lid to accommodate a pair of padlocks and those holes contain metal ferrules to prevent a thief with a pocket knife from cutting the plastic away to gain access. The handle is nicely covered with a very pliant gray rubberized compound grip, very gentle on the hands. Hinges are hung on what appear to be stainless steel pins, but the hinges do not run all the way across like piano hinges.
When the lid is opened, there is a detent position at which the lid stops … just a bit past 90 open. The inner divider for the various pieces is stout and cleanly cut. It may be simply pulled out if anyone might want to repurpose the box for some other contents. This would make a nice suitcase for a carry-on. TIP: if the divider is removed, a large neoprene mouse pad may be cut and glued in to form a nice mat at the bottom. The upper egg carton padding is glued in place and cannot be removed without incurring a lot of cleanup work.
Weight and carriage of this case is first rate and I highly recommend it as a superb Amazon value. Five Star Review!
