Well made case for the Neo 2 Kit.
A well made case to house all of your standard accessories that comes with the Neo 2 kit. The foam is dense enough to provide adequate protection and doesn’t have a bad odor from the manufacturing process like others I have received. The latches hold nice and tight and there’s a rubber seal to reflect or repel water and moisture from entering the case. The only thing I can really note as a dislike is the fact you cannot lock this case like many others with the used of your own pad or combination lock. That may not be important for everyone, but it is worth noting. I can’t see any reason not to recommend this case unless you need something that is larger or lockable.
Cannot complain and definitely sturdy.
I’ll start off by saying I know it was meant for a drone, but I had different plans for it from the start. As you can tell that’s a camera lens and not a drone. With that out of the was I’ll say this even though it’s plastic it sure is sturdy and can take some abuse. The seal that goes around the top to makes it waterproof is a nice thick seal only time will tell as to how long it’ll actually last for. I did run the case under a shower for a few minutes to open it to find that it was in fact waterproof. The only water that was in there was from the droplets from opening. So I’ll say that if it protected my camera lens that well I’m sure it’d protect a drone just as well. I’d recommend this case for whoever has the drone that this is fitted for or anyone up for modification of a small case to protect valuable items.
Nice color storage case for your drone or other items
Smaller than I expected but still useful. Can hold small important camping gear to keep from rain, dirt and mist damage. I have many different cases holding all sorts of items from computers parts to drones and even a mil-sim paint marker. What I do pay attention to when I get these after it became an issue before, there is no drain hole for air pressure or water drainage. This may only be an issue if the case is stored for a while in large temperature variant locations with something heavy stacked on top. So a minor risk and inconvenience but if you are trying to go cheap on a weapon storage case and you have kids, this is not the case for you. It looks cool with its desert tan but the case lacks a lock and lacks the ability to put a lock on. I can’t think of a case this size that I’ve used without that ability. The latches are a single action flap so you can just pop them open easily unlike some of the other cases out there that have a way to lock the case or add one and the latches are a double action where you pop them to loosen them then have to pop them off of a lip that is there to prevent accidental opening of the latch if it is hit.
TL:DR?
Great for small important items when traveling in your vehicle and camping. Bad for carrying weapons you want to securely store. Great for the drone this is made for.
Rare 5 star Rating! Tons of space and Built well
I don’t hand out 5 stars often, but this one earned it. Right out of the box, the build quality feels solid and well put together.
What really stood out is how much you can actually fit in here. Under the main compartment, I was able to stash things like wireless mics, extra propellers, a small Phillips screwdriver, landing gear, cables and still had room left. Another plus is that the hinge rod is actually metal and not plastic like some cheaper models
Everything fits well and a huge plus is that the Neo 2 fits with the transmitter antenna attached. Clasps feel fairly solid and though I don’t intend on dunking this in water to test the waterproof feature, I have no doubt it will definitely protect against the occasional rain.
For something that’s supposed to be a simple carrying case, this thing is surprisingly versatile. Definitely one of those “glad I bought it” items. Easy 5/5 stars.
I don’t read other reviews before writing mine & only share my own experiences.

Stout and well crafted. Could use a pressure eq valve and padlock bosses.
This is a conveniently sized watertight case designed to carry a drone and its accessories. The construction is stout and the case lid and its corresponding gasket mate well. The rim of the box which contacts the silicon foam gasket in the lid is cast smoothly and has no burrs. There is a beautifully cut foam insert in the case with neat cut-outs for the Neo 2 and its accompanying accessories and a large white sheet of plasticized paper comes with the case overlaying the case foam with the cut-outs. The photos show it. It designates exactly where each item is to be stowed.
There is no pressure relief or equalization valve installed in this case. It would not be too difficult to install one, though, as they are available for purchase. The hinges are well made and tight and pivot on what appears to be stainless steel pins. There are also no provisions for securing the case; the lid would have benefited with a couple of bosses cast into the lid at the shoulders for padlocks. The lack of a security solution and of a pressure relief/equalization valve is the reason for me dropping a star on this otherwise fine case.
The foam insert is easily removed and the case can be repurposed as desired. I find that a large mouse pad makes a very good floor mat for these waterproof boxes when cut and laid or glued into the floor with the fabric side up. The handle is just a bit on the thin side … could have been made a bit thicker for hand comfort. The egg carton padding in the lid is glued in and fits very well to cushion that expensive DJ1 Neo 2 drone.
This is altogether still a fine case for carrying the DJ1 Neo 2 drone and its accessories. I give the case a full four stars.
