Product description

Easy Way to Preserve Old Memories in Great Quality
This VHS to Digital Converter is exactly what I needed to bring our old home videos back to life. The setup was straightforward, and I love that it works with multiple formats like VHS, camcorders, and even DVDs. The 4″ HD screen is a really nice feature—it lets you preview everything clearly without needing to hook it up to another device.
The conversion process was smooth, and the videos saved as MP4 files with surprisingly good quality for such old footage. It felt amazing being able to watch and save these memories digitally so they won’t be lost over time.
Overall, this device is convenient, easy to use, and does exactly what it promises. Highly recommend for anyone looking to preserve their family videos!
Easy way to preserve old home audio and video
This converter made it simple (push of a button) to save our old tapes without turning the project into a technical headache. The built-in screen is handy for checking progress, and the multiple output options make the files easy to keep and share.
For anyone trying to digitize family memories at home, it is a practical and straightforward solution. It does what it is supposed to do and makes the whole process much less frustrating. This device is a great value for the money.
Far easier to use this than having to use a full computer, comparable quality
I’ve been slowly archiving my mom’s old videos, and until I received this device I’ve been doing it via computer – which works well, but it’s incredibly finicky and I basically have to “babysit” the conversion process. It’s okay, but turns into a pain when you’ve done it a few dozen times.
This converter removes the above – and encodes everything onto a microsd card. Uses some pretty standard codecs (mp4) so really there’s no difference between doing it via computer or this converter. (for an explanation see below as to why)
Note: for those who are worried about quality, the main determiner of quality is the head of your VCR that you use in converting. Even the best quality of VHS output won’t make a difference if it’s done with this converter or a computer – any and I repeat any codec used will be wayyyyy outside of the range of VHS.
In other words basically codecs record at such a better quality that it really doesn’t matter on which one you use – it’s like comparing using crayons to using pencils for drawing “sharpness” – pretty much any sharp or dull pencil will be far far better than using a crayon in drawing something. (unless you are in a certain group that loves to draw with crayons of course)
I’m so grateful for this! Highly recommend
10 stars especially for the price. I’ve been looking for something to convert my VHS home videos over to my computer and DVD for a while since there’s only a matter of time where VHS will be no longer and I was able to do that with this converter. This product does not come with usb or TF card so I had to purchase my own which was no problem! I am so grateful for this! I now can rewatch all my childhood memories on a laptop!!! Highly recommend!!!
Easy to use and versatile with VHS, 8mm tapes, etc. SAVE YOUR MEMORIES with this device.
I finally tackled that dusty box of old VHS tapes in the closet, and this little VHS to digital converter made the whole process way less painful than I expected. It’s genuinely plug-and-play—no wrestling with drivers, no downloading sketchy software, no begging my ancient laptop to cooperate. Going this route appealed to me more than sending my tapes out to Timbuktu for a company to digitize at a high price.
I just hooked up my VCR with the included AV cables, popped in a big USB drive (you’ll need to supply your own, up to 512GB works great), and hit record. The 4-inch LCD screen right on the device lets me preview everything clearly, and the built-in speakers mean I don’t have to guess if the audio from my kids’ awkward 90s dance recitals is coming through okay. Being able to hook it up to the TV via HDMI for bigger viewing was a nice bonus too—suddenly the whole family could crowd around and cringe together in HD-ish glory.
The recording quality holds up surprisingly well for something this straightforward; it captures up to 1080p, which breathes new life into those grainy old tapes without making them look artificially sharpened. I love the extras like timed recording (perfect for long home videos where I don’t want to babysit it) and even a quick screenshot button for grabbing stills of particularly embarrassing moments. It handled my Mini DV camcorder tapes just as smoothly, and the files save reliably without weird splitting issues messing up playback. Sure, it won’t magically restore a tape that’s already half-eaten by time, and you still need a working player, but for digitizing memories without turning it into a weekend project, this thing is a lifesaver. Plus, the remote control means I can lounge on the couch instead of hovering like a paranoid archivist. If you’re sitting on a pile of retro footage like I was, grab one—the after-sales support seems solid too if you hit any snags.
Do you have old VHS tapes and a VCR to go with it or an old camcorder and a bunch of tapes of old memories and videos that you don’t necessarily have a TV compatible with that older analog tech? Convert all those old memories into a digital HD format with this Lvrzng digital converter. What makes this converter easy to use is it’s a stand alone device. With the built in LCD screen and RCA and S-video inputs, you can plug in your old tech and watch the videos on the included screen and convert them directly to MP4 video and audio formats. You have a micro SD card slot plus a USB-A interface for thumb drives to store your videos on. You can use a USB hard drive that has power but portable SSD’s and HDD’s are not supported (not sure why a SSD isn’t since they are low power but with the thumb drives and micro SD slots you are good to go).
The only downfall is the price (hence one star knocked off). I literally bought a $15 RCA+S-video to USB converter a few weeks ago and using my computer and free software am able to accomplish the same tasks at a fraction of the price. Is it as easy as this setup? No, so those who want the easiest way to transform their analog videos to digital this might be exactly what you are looking for.
