I’ve been reading the reviews below but unfortunately I’ve seen that everyone is explaining how good is this incubator , but I haven’t found anyone to say specifically how many eggs I’ve hatched and how many chicks it has hatched.
I put 120 chicken eggs, 60 / 60 and I got 94 chicks. In my opinion, the incubator is good.
-just be careful to add warm water to keep the humidity within normal parameters. Otherwise, it automatically sets the temperature and humidity depending on the day.
-I will also try with duck eggs.
-the size is ok,
-it doesn’t make much noise,
– the price is acceptable,
-it’s easy to use,
-and the instruction manual is well explained.
Needs a better frame
First one I got was cracked in seven places. Had it replaced this one came cracked as well but still works so I didn’t bother sending it back for a third one. My incubated 120 eggs they were all viable and came to term.
Worked well -- newbie friendly
Honestly didn’t know what to expect going into this but this thing is pretty cool especially if you’ve never used an incubator before.
First impression out of the box is that it’s lighter than I expected but not in a bad way. The plastic actually feels decent and everything snaps together pretty clean. The clear top is a nice touch too since you can constantly check on the eggs without opening it.
Setup was super straightforward. Plug it in, add some water, set your temp and you’re basically good to go. Took maybe 10 minutes max just reading through everything and making sure I had it right. The display is easy to read and not confusing at all which I appreciated.
Biggest highlight for me is the automatic egg turner. Not having to constantly mess with the eggs is a HUGE plus and makes this way more beginner friendly. It kind of just does its thing which is exactly what you want.
Temperature and humidity seem pretty stable so far. I did keep a separate thermometer just to double check (probably overkill) but it stayed pretty consistent. From what I’ve seen that’s one of the biggest things with these so that’s a good sign.
My one concern is long term durability. The plastic is decent but I wouldn’t say it feels super heavy duty, so I’m not sure how it’ll hold up after multiple cycles. Also the water channels are a little small so you may have to refill more often than expected.
Overall though this is a really solid incubator especially for beginners or small batches. It does pretty much everything you need without overcomplicating it. Just make sure you monitor your levels and don’t completely rely on it blindly
Great incubato
The incubator arrived packaged very well. Set up was easy. The incubator came up to temperature very quickly as well as humidity. We successfully hatched 38 out of 40 eggs the first time use. We then shut the unit down to clean it and it cleaned very nicely. When we started the unit back up it would not come back up to humidity or temperature on the preset for chicken eggs. We had to do the temperature and humidity in manual mode which worked however we had to baby sit the incubator for the first 4 days to make sure it got up to temperature. I ordered a replacement and it arrived last date and came up to temp and humidity quickly. It is holding both great. The incubator is quiet even up close to it. We just put in our second batch of 100 chicken eggs. The incubator is very user friendly however you can not switch it from Celsius to fahrenheit so you have to do some conversion. Other than that I would recommend this incubator to anyone. The only reason I gave this incubator 4 stars and not 5 is due to the first one not working and the celsius to fahrenheit setting on the main screen.
Vevitts 136 Eggs Automatic Egg Incubato
This egg incubator is amazing for doing a bunch of eggs at one time. Fair warning though it does take up a lot of space as it is roughly 2.5-3ft wide. It felt very sturdy and durable as it was made out of what seemed like a thin metal. It was able to control the humidity and give us good success on a batch of eggs that we did so far. It has a good design and seems to be a good value when compared to other incubators of the same scale.
