A blast from the past, mileage for money varies
The game looks very good, the arcade feeling is there and the time limit ads a frantic feeling to the game. I expected a little more polish to the sprites. They look good, but not outstanding like Metal Slug or Blasphemous.

I got the Day 1 edition, the extras as a whole are good. There is a game manual with explanations of the levels and enemy behavior, like in the old days of NES, very complete. There is a poster in fabric of the box art, interesting as an item and the arcade token. A small metal coin the size of a quarter or US 25 cents coin. It has very good details and the material looks like the old arcade tokens. The issue is that it came in a plastic case and I can’t take it out without breaking the case. That’s very disappointing.

Since the game costs $29.99 at launch and this version $59.99, you are paying $30 for the extras, $10 each one. probably without the holiday mood I would not pay for it and wait for a discount on the digital version.

    Great game with great music
Great game. This is not super perfect, but that kind of fits with the style. Can be difficult at first but not a very hard game once you have it down. Other than the continues/ lives being an annoying part for some. My only issue is that Arnold isn’t in the game I guess. At least not technically like the other characters it is more of a look a like Arnold. Either way, fun game and great music.

The Ultimate Love Letter to 90s Arcade Action – A Must-Own for Fans!
The Verdict: The “16-Bit” Masterpiece We Deserved in 1991
If you grew up with a controller in your hand and a Terminator 2 poster on your wall, Terminator 2D: NO FATE is the ultimate nostalgia trip. Developed by the retro-wizards at Bitmap Bureau, this isn’t just a modern game with a “pixel filter”—it’s a meticulously crafted love letter to the golden era of arcade run-and-gunners like Contra and Metal Slug.

The Day One Edition on PS5 is a physical treasure trove that makes the premium price tag feel entirely worth it for collectors.
Action-Packed Variety: You aren’t just stuck as one character. You’ll swap between Sarah Connor (agile with a deadly knife), John Connor (leading the Resistance in gritty Future War levels), and the T-800 (a literal tank that can’t jump but can absorb and dish out massive punishment).

The “No Fate” Mechanic: This is the game’s secret weapon. While the first run follows the movie, subsequent playthroughs let you make pivotal choices—like sparing or killing Miles Dyson—that branch the story into entirely new levels and darker alternate endings.

Glorious Pixel Art: The sprite work is stunning. From the neon-soaked L.A. streets to the terrifyingly detailed T-800 endoskeletons, the game looks like a “lost” high-end Neo-Geo title.

Challenging but Fair: It captures that “one more go” arcade difficulty. On Hasta La Vista (Hard) mode, it’s a brutal test of reflexes, but the modern “Easy” settings and infinite continues make it accessible for everyone.
