Great product for traveling
I like to travel carry-on only and this has been so useful for that. It can easily dry a few lightweight items overnight. This isn’t going to work for jeans or heavy sweatshirts but it works like a charm for lightweight pants, shorts, swimwear, underwear, socks and t-shirts. If you’ve ever hand washed laundry in a hotel room you know that it sometimes just won’t dry unless you leave it for several days. This is worth the space it takes up in my suitcase. Definitely use a metal hanger.
heats up fast and works really well
his portable dryer heats up really quickly and works great. the drying performance is impressive for such a small unit. portability is excellent, easy to move around. noise level is quiet, doesn’t disturb me. capacity is good for a few items at a time. energy efficiency seems solid. quality is nice. super easy to use, very happy with it!
Cool Design. Good for Campervan Use
This is a cool design – it’s essentially a blow dryer with an attached bag and a metal bar to hang clothes on. We thought it would be useful for campervan trips to dry out bathing suits and microfiber towels so we could put them away faster. Since it is wintertime, we are using the dryer to dry gloves and hats (hanging them on a hanger to get closer to the warm air).
The dryer is “portable” – to me it is portable enough to put into a vehicle, but not portable enough to put into a suitcase because of its size. The device is simple to use – plug in, touch 1x to power on (dry time is auto 8 hrs), touch 2x for 4hr dry time, touch 3x for 12 hr dry time, touch 4x to power off.
Obviously, the closer to the air, the faster items will dry. Our wet gloves took about 1-1/2 hours, but were not sopping wet – just damp. The dryer is fairly quiet; much quieter than a standard hair dryer.
