This baby play mat comes compressed but puffed up quickly once it was opened. The colors are vibrant and crisp. The material is very soft to the touch, and also seems easy to wipe off if needed. The cushioning is a thick memory foam type material that feels very soft. This mat would definitely protect a baby and give them a soft, clean, comfortable area to play. It’s also a large size. It seems like a thick, durable material. While the mat is thick, it is not too heavy to move so it can easily be moved around as needed. While this mat is a little expensive, I think it’s worth it for the quality and would make an excellent gift.
Soft Thick Mat W/Great Cushioning For Tummy Time & Crawling
This baby play mat has a lot of room and a nice amount of padding, which makes it great for floor time. Good back up
This is a great backup mat to have, especially for travel. I like sending it with the grandparents so there’s always a safe and comfortable place for baby to play. The size is really nice and it fits well inside a playpen. It provides enough padding for tummy time and crawling without being too bulky.
The material feels soft and comfortable, and I like that it’s water-repellent for easy cleanup. The non-slip bottom is a great feature and helps keep it in place. It also folds or stores easily, which makes it convenient to take on the go.

Good padding for floor play
I picked this mat to create a safer play area on our floors, and it has worked well for that purpose. The foam inside gives it a good amount of thickness, so it actually makes a difference compared to just putting a blanket down. My baby seems more comfortable spending longer time on it, whether it’s tummy time, sitting up, or just moving around and exploring. The larger size makes it more flexible since I can set up toys and still have room left for movement, which helps keep everything in one place. I’ve moved it between rooms a few times, and it’s been easy to reposition without hassle. It also stays fairly stable on the floor and doesn’t bunch up easily. The surface has a soft feel, and regular cleaning has been simple, which is important with daily use.
Soft, Well-Made Play Mat with Great Cushioning
This play mat has been great for our “sensory”-friendly home. The quality feels very good, with nice thickness and solid craftsmanship that makes it feel durable and well made. The design is beautiful without being too busy, so it blends in much better with our living room and kids’ play area. The size is another big plus since it gives plenty of space for play and fits nicely in our everyday family spaces. What I like most is the cushioning, especially because my neurodivergent toddler will sometimes randomly crash onto the floor, and this mat gives her a much softer and safer place to land. It has worked wonderfully for playtime, and just giving the kids a more comfortable surface overall. The price seems fair for the quality, although I do think it feels like an even better value when it is on sale or there is a coupon available.
Super thick and soft fabric; off-gassing and film needs washing before use
We have wall-to-wall LVP so we use a lot of rugs and mats for our kiddos. This is one of the thicker ones we have, and certainly the softest. It is adorable! The print is just as it appears on the photos. I love the grippy bottom that allows it to stay in place on our floor. The size is perfect for our largest playpen but I found that it slips due to the fabric bottom in the playpen. This isn’t a fault of this mat, but something to note. The padding is exceptionally thick, and it springs to life as soon as you release it from its 3 layers of plastic wrapping.
The reason for the docked star is due to the chemical they used to coat the mat. It made the mat very slick and it left a residue on the skin. It also smelled like very strong chemicals, so a wash before using is a MUST. Off-gassing alone wouldn’t be enough due to the coating. I will say that washing this massive and thick mat is a chore! There’s no way I could wash it in our washer so in the tub it went. It becomes very heavy and then you have the job of squeezing all the water our and then drying it. It’s quite the task and something that needs to be done before little ones use it, so bear that in mind if you are purchasing this mat.
Other than that, I love it! It is large, protective, and cute. It’s one of the kids’ items you can actually use after the kids are older.
