Product description

Comfy backrest and amazingly cool material!
Reading in bed gets me ready for sleep. It clears my mind. To get in a comfortable position is an individual thing for everyone. When I saw this I quickly ordered it only hoping that this would be better than a stack of pillows. I need to sit mostly straight up. It seems this pillow is primarily made to be in a more reclining position, but with another bed pillow behind it, I can sit upright.
The foam is soft and the cover feels cool to the touch. I’m not sure what kind of material it is, but I could use a bed pillow case made from this same material. It’s that comfortable. The backside has hundreds of the small rubberized cubbies to help keep it from sliding and it works pretty well if you are reclining on your back or stomach.
I didn’t see anything in the description about the cover being removable but was glad to see when it arrived that there is a well hidden zipper that allows you to remove and wash the cover. Because of the oddly shaped foam, I hope this doesn’t turn into a puzzle trying to get it back into the cover. I don’t have any specific complaints other than for me, I have to use a second pillow behind it in order to sit upright. I’m not sure if there would be a way to design something that would do what I like. The price was reasonable considering the fact that I use it every night for about 30 minutes.
a bit big for short people, but comfy
I have neuropathy in my neck and shoulders, and recently had surgery, and am a manic reader. Some of my habitual positions to read were undoing a lot of the good from the surgery, so I thought this multi-positional pillow would be a good choice. The size and multi-directional use is more convenient than the “boyfriend” type pillows that look like the top half of an armchair. It’s still a little big for short people, but definitely usable. It’s helped keep me from slouching on the couch, and in bed I can sit upright instead of lying on my side and getting a crick in my neck and shoulders. The sponge memory foam is just the right firmness to maintain position. I like that the cover is removable for washing. The “non-slip” bottom is not, but that’s a minor issue. I wish it came in colors, but otherwise, this is a good value.
Amazing super comfy reading, late night texting pillow
Really really nice soft and comfortable pillow with multiple ways of using it each one extremely comfortable and supportive.
This is a really cool pillow especially if your like me and like to read in bed, my favorite position is on my tummy with a couple pillows but this is way way better as my normal pillows tend to loose their shape as time passes and i end up having to fluff them and re-adjust them every 15 minutes or so, this pillow I can read for hours with no adjustment.
Its also great for watching tv or playing video games in bed before sleep when on your back.
Also great for if you want to put it against the wall or head board if you rather be propped all the way up which is what I’m doing now while writing this review!
The pillow case is easy to clean and made from extremely soft quality materials.
I absolutely love this pillow and recommend it for any reader, gamer, or bedroom tv watcher. I will probably use this next time I have a cold to prop me up while I sleep.
Worth every penny!
LOVE THIS PILLOW!!! ❤️🥰😍

Reading Pillow for Bed, Ergonomic Memory Foam Reading Support Pillow with Arm & Body Support, Multi-Position Pillow for Reading in Bed, Comfortable for Book, Phone, Tablet & Relaxing
Oh my gosh I love this pillow!!!!!!!! I have seriously wanted something like this for the longest time but didn’t even know it existed. This is like a serious upgrade from a husband pillow! It’s soft yet perfectly firm, providing excellent support. The shape is perfect for my body. I love being propped up especially if I have a headache. I know it says not for overnight use but I could see myself using it that way especially if I was going to bed with a migraine or very congested due to a cold or flu. Regardless it is so comfortable! Makes lounging in bed very enjoyable. I have not tried it against the wall as a backrest yet but I probably will in the future. The case is a nice smooth fabric that doesn’t make you feel hot. In fact it has kind of a cooling effect. The bottom has grippy fabric to prevent it from sliding around. I know the case comes off but it might be hard to get the pillow back in the case. You can easily drape a pillowcase, sheet or cotton t-shirt over it to keep it clean if you like though! That will save you the trouble of trying to wash the case. I’m super pleased with this item!! Now I can’t be without i
I’ve been using this ergonomic reading pillow for a few days now, and it’s quickly become one of my favorite relaxation accessories. The design really does make a difference—having support for the arms, chest, and upper body takes a lot of strain off your shoulders and neck, especially during longer reading or scrolling sessions. Whether I’m using a book, phone, or tablet, it keeps me in a much more comfortable position.
The dualfeel memory foam is a smart touch. The upper portion is firmer and gives you that stable lift you need, while the lower section is softer and more cushioned. It strikes a nice balance so you don’t feel like you’re sinking in, but you’re not fighting against a stiff block of foam either.
One thing I really appreciate is how versatile it is. You can use it lying on your stomach, reclining, or sitting upright, and it adapts well to each position. The natural arm support is especially helpful when you’re trying to stay comfortable for longer stretches.
The removable cover is another plus. It’s soft, breathable, and easy to wash, which is great if you plan to use it daily. The material feels nice against the skin and doesn’t trap heat.
Just note that this isn’t meant to replace a sleeping pillow—it’s strictly for reading and relaxing, and it excels at that. If you enjoy spending time in bed with a book or tablet, this pillow makes the experience noticeably more comfortable.
As a person with chronic back problems I am always looking for a pillow that helps me feel more comfortable nad has support.
The pillow provides very good support for my neck without causing discomfort to the rest of my back. I’m not a person who regularly lies on their stomach to read or scroll, but I tried it out and it was surprisingly supportive.
The pillow came vacuum packed in bag. Once opened there is no going back in the bag. I say that because the pillow does take up some real estate once it’s at full size.
The pillow can be used in different ways depending on how it’s positioned. I like to lie in the couch so I used it and got more support and it was super comfortable. The instructions caution you not to use it for sleeping, it’s for a shorter duration. I dozed off and didn’t experience any issues. I also used it while crocheting and it definitely helped me with the support and my posture.
While I enjoyed trying the pillow’s various positions, it was made difficult by the smell. The pillow had a very strong smell, kind of like mildewy wet basement. I allowed it to sit for a bit, but no change. I took the cover off, which was very easy to remove, wash, and replace, and allowed the billow insert to air out. After a couple of days it still had the smell. I sprayed it with Lysol and after sitting for another day it was much better.
Overall the pillow is really comfortable and definitely helpful for anyone who needs more support. Keep in mind it’s pretty sizeable so it’s not very portable. I had to take off a star for the smell.
Nice For Reading, But Bulky And Difficult To Store
This pillow arrived in a very compact roll and it doesn’t look like it would be big, but boy, when unwrapped it does expand and is decent sized. It is oddly shaped so it is difficult to store if you don’t want to keep it on your bed.
My teenager uses this to read in bed. It provides the perfect support for her head- it isn’t too hard and the shape cradles her back and head comfortably. The material is also very nice and has a removable cover to wash and keep it clean and sanitary.
I recently had surgery and was told to keep my head propped up so I’ve actually also been using this along with placing my pillow on top of this and it’s helped keep my head propped up with comfort. I am a side sleeper and was a little nervous about having to sleep on my back with head propped for a week, but this support pillow has helped along with my regular pillow on top. It’s kept me on my back without feeling the need to roll side to side while I heal from the surgery.
Overall, it’s made very well, I like that it has the cover to wash, and provides a few different positions to use the pillow. What I dislike, and why I removed 1 star, is that there is no way to fold the pillow up for easy storage. It’s large and oddly shaped so it makes it more difficult to store if you don’t want to keep it on top of your bed.
This reading pillow is well-constructed, with a high grade foam that feels dense but pleasantly yielding. For this review I lay back and read a couple chapters of E.M. Forster’s “Maurice” (the closest book to me at the moment), then scrolled my phone a little.
I was actually surprised by how much I liked it – I was skeptical of its pitched-back slant, which was different then the other, more upright bed-reading pillows I was used to, but it actually felt really ergonomically good and natural, and certainly a million times better than using a regular pillow.
I saw some people complain that it felt small or insubstantial to them, and I would suggest that the success of support pillows of any type is always going to be body-size and weight dependent; it’s an issue of scale.
For me, a 5’4 woman, it felt perfect. It supported enough, and it hit my shoulders and neck in the right places.
I can see how it might not feel as ideal for a large, broad-shouldered man or much taller woman or a heavier person in general. So that’s something to consider.
Time will tell how the foam holds up to compression, but for now it seems study and resilient. It also earns points for looking quite a bit better than your average ergonomic item – it’s streamlined, neutral-colored, and the single button provides a visual nod to actual upholstery.
I took off one star because mine came with a strong plastic off-gassing smell reminiscent of moss or mildew – at first I thought it was coming from something in the house and checked all the air vents – but when I smelled it again lying down I realized it was coming from the pillow.
It dissipated after airing out, and I haven’t seen it mentioned in any other reviews yet, so it may have been a one-off experience.
The pillow came smooshed so tight I thought it’d never be pillow shaped, but I stand corrected as it plumped up in about 10 minutes. It’s lightweight and very comfortable. The only reason it’s not 5 stars is because it does have a weird smell and as it’s next to your head (and therefore nose) I’m not a fan. Febreeze it and be happy
I like to read and watch stuff on my tablet r phone in bed at night. Finding a comfortable position in which to do this has been a long-time search. In my attic you will find more than a dozen different pillows and supports that came with promises of making this possible. Hardly.
And most of them were large, bulky, heavy and too ugly for my beautiful bedroom.
Then I got this Royal Choice Ergonomic Memory Foam Multi-Position Support Pillow. A dream come true.
This pillow supports back, arms, chest while reading or using tablet, laptop or phone.
Best of all I like the support it provides for my back. And that the memory foam is cool, soft and comfortable. It’s not at all like most of the others I own which are made of some kind of thick hard rigid uncomfortable material.
It also provides plenty of ‘slanted” support for times when I am having difficulty breathing.
The nylon-spandex cover feels good against the skin and it can be easily removed and machine washed.
It is not intended as a traditional sleeping pillow. However — I have fallen asleep on it with no bad results. It is light-weight — so easy for me to place it on the floor beside my bed without getting out of bed.
