    great movie
I purchased this movie because it was streaming on a different company that I don’t subscribe to. I thought it would come out on disney but they hid it in hulu for an extra subscription. That is the problem with movies. I can’t afford to subscribe to all streaming channels to see movies. I’m sure it will eventually show up somewhere else. I really wanted to check it out so I got the 4k. When it started to play, it seemed to skip the usual disclaimers. I thought it was faulty but it did play the movie. I really enjoyed it. I don’t know why the reviews were not better. Anyway, I definitely recommend the movie for the action and special effects. In todays world, if you really want to watch a movie when it comes out, you either pay for the streaming service or purchase the physical media. I say buy the physical media so you can watch it whenever you want.

Best Predator movie since the first movie
Great Predator movie. Probably the best movie since the First Movie.

Super clean video with the transfer rate hitting 80mbps in many scenes. If you think Disney Plus streaming version looks great. This looks even Greater.

Audio. Really really good. I’m running a Yamaha RXA830 in 5.1 setup and the sound was very discrete.

I wished I saw this in Theater.

Absolutely Gorgeous Looking Steel Book Editio
A young Predator, Dek a Yautja who is an outcast from his clan, sets out on a remote planet, with an unlikely ally in Thia and embarks on a treacherous journey in search of the ultimate adversary- Kalisk. This movie has everything- action, adventure, suspense, monsters, beautiful scenery, cool sword, Weyland-Yutani Corp, Tessa, Bud and for Dek, revenge is a dish best served cold. Predator Badlands is a terrific movie and in 4K a visual masterpiece especially packaged in a gorgeous steel book edition.

    Badlands On 4K Is Badass!!!
What a Cool addition to The Predator Franchise giving fresh blood to an almost stale bunch of sequels. This gives a way better perspective in story from The Yautja World and It works. I’m on Deks side throughout but I do wish the made him taller, Bigger and more Imposing. Overall lots of fun and Cool Action with a good pay off at the end.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersPredator Badlands....solid film with a different tone and perspective
My buddy came over this morning for a first watch for both of us of the 4K of Predator Badlands. I forgot to ask him what he thought of it, but I enjoyed it. It is not a movie that takes itself too seriously as did the original release and Predator 2 did. This one, while part of the franchise, is a whole different ball of wax. It takes place at the start on the Predator’s home planet where his father and brother look upon the younger and smaller predator is looked upon as a runt. The dad wants the brother to kill the younger one so as not to bring a loss of honor to the family. The older brother refuses so the dad kills the older one. The young predator is determined to win his own honor and goes off to find the one creature on another planet that the dad and every predator is afraid of. Upon landing on the planet the predator comes across a synthetic being who promises to help. The only problem is that her legs were destroyed by the creature so he carries her on his back and looks at her as nothing more than a tool.
There are plenty humorous scenes as well as some very decent action sequences.
The video quality, heightened by extensive CGI use and HDR/Dolby Vision, produces a rather seamless visual experience with none of the special fx overdoing it to the point of looking ridiculously phony. Not only does the imaging appear real but the contrast of objects, beasts and characters seem simply excellent but the detailing of everything is top notch. Each little scale, wrinkle, cell or blemish is perfectly presented to your eyes. You just have to look; it is that good.

The ATMOS audio also earns a top grade for its totally encompassing surround sound. Each of your home theater speakers gets plenty of sound waves each to its own. The use of the surrounds, for lots of discreet and accurately placed audio, brings you into the frame of events effortlessly.
It would be a shame to call this movie ‘Predator Light’ simply because of the sarcasm in the dialogue or humor in various events. The film stands on its own as a solid work. Yes, I prefer the tone of the original Predator and the recent release of ‘Prey’, but that doesn’t abdicate Predator Badlands from the series franchise, not at all.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersBest predator movie hands down.
My girlfriend and me watch this movie we really both enjoyed the movie. Lots of action and with a touch of comedy. My favorite predator movie. I like that the Yaujta is the main protagonist. Ever since I played predator concrete jungle game. Having the predator be the main protagonist is better and makes a far better story. . I am sort done with humans beating predator all the time. Let’s have more stories with predators hunting themselves or other bad bloods or clan disputes.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our Users"Best Predator Film!"
This predator film was very well done and and a great performances and role by Elle Fanning. Great picture and sound quality of the Blu-ray and Digital. I haven’t watched the special features yet but I’m pretty sure it’s worth it. This one might be the second best Predator film but first Predator film with Arnold Schwarzenegger was better. Highly recommend it and two thumbs up.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersAn Excellent Movie that looks fantastic in 4K
An absolutely fantastic movie that we enjoyed very much. Dek’s storyline reminds me of Joseph Campbell’s The Hero’s Journey. This is another stellar (no pun intended) looking 4K effort from Disney, one that takes all the positives of their perfectly excellent 1080 presentation and delivers higher detail levels and an especially impressive palette courtesy of the HDR/Dolby Vision grades. I know there was heavy CGI use, but it was so seamless I never noticed. Dan Trachtenberg is handling the Predator franchise rather smartly so far, and Predator: Badlands is another maybe unexpectedly visceral journey with a Yautja creature. This is a very visually and aurally impressive production, even aside from its narrative pluses, and this 4K UHD release makes the most of the format. Supplements are also very enjoyable, even though I would have liked more of them. Highly Recommended!
