Product description

Great drye
The portable clothes dryer was simple to put together and use. Dried my scrubs in a relatively short amount of time and no wrinkles. Wasn’t very loud, less than mid range. I like that it is able to slide under my bed or into my jeep for trips and not take up much room.
Gleekora portable clothes dryer tent- saves me money from dry cleaning
When I launder clothes, especially my nicer outfits, whether it be dresses, blouses or jackets, I prefer to dry clean them but that can get costly. Lately, I’ve been tossing most of them in the wash on the delicate cycle. But I don’t like the idea of using the dryer and having them get all crumpled up.
This product offers the solution I was looking for. I am able to keep my delicates and nicer outfits separate and they dry properly on hangers which makes it very convenient to put away when dried. I’ve found the 60-90 minute time frame works best for most of my loads. I like that I can dry my dresses/pants or do a double layer for my blouses and my husband’s shirts. I can comfortably dry about 10 dresses at a time.
As for the tent setup, that was relatively simple to pop up and lock in place. Instructions were easy to follow and I had it up in about 15 minutes. The metal stabilizer bars are not the strongest but if it were, it would be too heavy to transport so I am okay with that. Once the plastic locking clips are in place, it feels sturdy enough, however, I would not overload it. Slipping the tent cover over the frame was very easy. Make sure to secure the bottom over the base to prevent air leakage. The remote is basic and simple to operate.
For the price, you will make your money back in savings from dry cleaning expenses. And I’m really impressed that it includes a UV light feature as an added sanitizer. It is one of those products that I didn’t know I needed and can’t live without. I highly recommend.
Efficient and spacy clothing dryer with remote control, timer button and light.
To test this dryer, I took a heavy damp carpet after spin and positioned it on the lower rack to dry. In a standard dryer it usually takes about an hour to dry. I was very surprised that this dryer only took 40 minutes. Once this dryer is unfolded, you secure it with 3 rack brackets, put the drying bag over it and it is ready to go. It is a great setup with 3 zippers in the front to have access and to hang your clothing. The hot airstream is very effective and surrounds every part of the dryer. The light could be brighter if you position the dryer in a dark place, but it is not a big issue. Once the clothing is in you take the remote and set up everything to your convenience. The display shows you the setting and how much time is left. You can’t control the temperature, only the time the hot air works on the fabrics. Because this dryer won’t fit in a small suitcase, I would only recommend it for longer vacations or a permanent installation therefore I only give 4 stars even though I like this dryer for its convenience.
Good if you have the time, space and a few items
On the road… in a pinch… need clean cloths but the hotel guest laundry is closed for the evening! This is a great little dryer in a pinch but only for a few things, you have the time and the room.
The capacity of this dryer is not a lot. I pretty much filled it with 2 t-shirts, one towel, two boxer briefs and 2 pairs of socks. But, when traveling, one does not usually need to clean much. So the capacity isn’t that bad, just smaller than I would hope.
Time is one of the biggest factors with this dryer. Now, I know that there is no tumble action with this dryer so I would expect it to take longer than a conventional tumble dryer. The above mentioned clothing was in for 120 minutes and was still not 100% dry. This is 3 to 4 times longer than usual in a tumble dryer. I figure it would have probably taken 180 minutes to get them all the way dry but didn’t have the time when testing to find out.
Space when traveling by car is always a premium. This would fit into my trunk (I have a mid-size SUV) and is relatively small for a dryer. But, if you had a compact car, you would probably have to put it in the back seat. That is not impossible to do but would be a little tough to take with you on a trip.
Over all, I like the idea and I like what they were trying to do with this dryer but it will only help if you have the time, space and only a few things to dry.
Easy setup, heats up fast, remote is convenient (a few minor quirks)
I’m honestly impressed with this clothes dryer so far. Setup was super easy and only took about 10 minutes. It’s basically just unfolding the main frame, snapping on the extra poles, and sliding the tent cover over it. The tent cover fits around the bade kind of like a fitted sheet, which made it even more simple.
Once it’s set up and plugged in, you just unzip the cover, hang your items inside, zip it back up, and turn it on. It can be controlled either with the buttons on the base or with the remote- the remote is way more convenient.
It heats up really well and you can see the tent puff up once it’s running. There are a few different timer settings for different time increments up to 300 which I’m guessing is minutes.
A couple small things to note:
– Mine was missing some of the parts meant for hanging items on the lower rack, but I can still hang things there if needed.
– It’s not the sturdiest thing in the world, but the structure feels solid enough as long as you’re not rough with it.
– When you turn it off, it takes about 10–15 seconds to actually shut down (not a huge deal, just something I noticed).
– The “light” feature seems kind of unnecessary. It’s just a small dim blue LED and doesn’t really add much.
Overall though, I think this is a great option if you need an indoor drying solution and don’t want to run a full dryer cycle or don’t have space for a traditional drying rack. So far I’m happy with it.
