Easy to connect car CD playe
If you have a recent model car you know that CD players are extinct from vehicles now. For those of us with lots of CDs the options to listen are to burn them to a USB stick or get a CD player like this MYPIN brand player. For my vehicle installing this was as easy as plugging in the attached USB cable into the USB slot on my console and then selecting USB as the input on the car’s entertainment information screen. The other connection option is a line in cord (included) if your USB port is for power only (or if you use a cigarette lighter type 12v jack for power). The player is very compact-about as compact as it could be and still play CDs.
Connection was very good as was the sound quality. I could switch tracks using my car’s touch screen and also pause or set to shuffle tracks. The car’s screen did not show any track info-just the track number. There is a remote control, but that only works if you use the line in jack-not with the direct USB connection I used.
If you have a lot of CDs you want to listen to in your newer car, you’ll need a player like this MYPIN brand player. This was so simple to connect-no software, no bluetooth or other fiddling-just plug it in, select the source as USB and you’re good to listen. It comes with a remote (only works with the line in cord), line in cord and a USB extension cord. The extension cord also has a USB C connection and there’s an adapter that converts standard USB to USB C.
This is listed as working with computers-the reason for the USB C cords/adapters but I did not test that functionality.
Easy to use
Setup was actually much easier than I expected. My dad’s car has both USB and USB-C ports, and the included adapter worked perfectly with the center console.
Once I got the settings right, it recognized the disc within about a minute and started playing.
Very convenient to bring out for old people. It’s not very heavy so it’s truly portable.
Best car cd playe
Bought a new car no cd player. Went to the local auto radio store and bought a CD player. It broke within 8 months. They replaced it for free and that one broke in 4 months. Came here to find one. This one I bought mainly because it says all you have to do is plug it in and it starts to play and it does. Plus, it’s super small which is nice too. Great value for the money. Sound is great. I highly recommend it. I have a 2022 Jeep renegade and not many things work with it.
Easy usage.
This cd player was better than expected. The newer cars are not equipped with cd players and for someone like me that has thousands of cds its an awesome buy.
Works well.
The portable car CD player comes with everything shown in this photograph. We have an older vehicle that the cd player no longer works in and we decided to give this one a try. It works exactly as it should.
It came with everything shown in my photograph including a remote. The quality is decent, seems sturdy and well made, and should last.
We are stepping more away from streaming services and choosing to own the media we want to consume, so this is a great little device to use with physical cds.
