Keeps Dashboard Feeling Less Scorched
The dashboard in my car used to take the worst of the heat, and it always felt like it was being punished after sitting under direct sunlight. Great for Cars Parked Outside

The silver coating on the inside reflects a lot of light, and you can see the vinyl outer layer is doing its job too. Overall it works well for keeping the heat down.

I bought this hoping it would make a real difference, not just look clever in the listing, and it has delivered in a way that fits my day-to-day routine. Super nice sunshade. The dual layer material is super thick and very durable. It fits perfectly in my Toyota Camry. It covers the entire windshield even with a dash cam in place. The sun shade also includes a nice little storage bag so keep it compact between uses. Makes a huge difference parking in the lot at work. Keeps my car much cooler. However, unless you take it out of the windshield first, the drive home can be slightly challenging. Definitely recommend. It did have a slight smell during the first couple uses, but has dissipated since then.
Fits Rivia
Fits Rivian Gen 2 R1S. I find it quick and easy to install and remove. The included cover fits nicely. Not too tight. Most of all, I like that it stores conviently in the lower center console tray. I can’t find a place to store the Rivian custom-fit fold-up sunshade where I can comfortably reach it from the driver’s seat. As for roll-up shades forget about it.
I was surprised to find that the side facing the outside was a beige color.
The knob on the handle came off. I finally found it between the seat and the center console. I screwed it back on.
I like this design. Two sided material hides the mechanicals. FAST to deploy and put up. Very effective and it folds up in an instant to about 2-3 times the size of a compact umbrella. I absolutely hate the accordion style sun shades that are still huge and hard to store when not in use. The roll-up shades never have sufficient structure and always sag.
