Great design and taste
I had been saying I needed an espresso maker for a while now and I am so happy to have one. I usually have coffee every morning but need the occasional boost mid day and this is just right for that.

I like the sleek look and that it doesn’t take up much space. The water reservoir can be moved/adjusted as needed for your counter space or liking. Easy to function with one button and you can also download the app and connect to the Nespresso. You can choose the height of the cup stand. But it does have a bit of learning curve if you’ve never use one before like me.

Love that it comes with some pods to try out and even included a $20 certificate to order more plus it gives you ideas on how to combine the pods or which ones to use for a certain taste. Overall I have loved all of the flavors.

The only thing I didn’t like is that even thought it has a storage where the used pods go it does splash everywhere inside so you need to make sure to take out the container wash it and wipe down the inside with a wet cloth.

Slim, Stylish, and Delicious Espresso — But Loud and Pods Can Add Up
After traveling through Europe last fall, we really fell in love with espresso and more European-style coffee. When we returned home, I wanted something that could recreate that experience, and after seeing the strong reputation for Nespresso machines, I decided to give this one a try.

One of the biggest selling points for me was the slim profile. This machine takes up very little counter space and actually slides perfectly between some of our other appliances. I also chose the white color, which is more of an off-white cream, and paired with the champagne gold accents, it looks very elevated and sophisticated on the countertop.

This machine comes with a variety pack of pods, which is great for getting started and figuring out what you like. It also connects to an app, which allows you to adjust settings. However, as someone new to Nespresso, I did find there was a bit of a learning curve. The documentation and app didn’t clearly explain the different pods or how to make milk-based drinks. Some drinks require frothed milk, and since this model doesn’t include a milk frother, I had to rely on my own and do some extra research to get the measurements right. It would have been helpful if clearer instructions were included.

I do appreciate the simplicity of the machine. It’s very straightforward with essentially one main button to turn on and brew, plus an additional option to shorten the brew for a stronger cup. Another thoughtful feature is the used pod catcher — when you open the top, the used pod automatically drops into a drawer at the base, which you can pull out and empty at any time. It’s very convenient.

The adjustable water reservoir is another smart design element. You can position it at the back or on the side depending on your available counter space, which makes it much more flexible for different kitchen layouts.

I also love the height of this machine. Unlike my Keurig, this one fits all of my taller travel tumblers with no problem. The adjustable cup platform is another nice touch, allowing you to raise or lower the cup to minimize splatter.

That said, there are a few downsides. First, this machine is loud — it genuinely sounds like a rocket ship about to take off. It also takes longer to brew than a Keurig, typically around 2–3 minutes. However, the trade-off is a much richer, stronger coffee with great flavor, which makes the wait worthwhile. My partner, who enjoys espresso straight, especially loves the results. I personally add milk and creamer, and the drinks still turn out fantastic and well-balanced.

I did also notice that the used-pod drawer tends to get splattered with coffee and needs occasional rinsing to keep things clean.

This machine also includes a $20 coupon toward future Nespresso purchases, which is a nice bonus. That said, it’s worth noting that the pods are significantly more expensive than traditional coffee pods. If you’re making multiple drinks per day, the cost can add up quickly. But if you’re someone who enjoys one quality espresso or coffee each morning, the price may be more reasonable.

Overall, we’re really enjoying this machine. It looks beautiful, makes excellent coffee, and feels like a quality appliance that should last a long time. I’d recommend trying to purchase it on sale if possible, and definitely factor in the ongoing pod cost. If you’re looking for a simple, compact, and stylish espresso machine that produces rich, flavorful coffee, this is a great option.
