Nifty Neck Travel Pillow
This is a unique neck travel pillow that felt much more comfortable than I expected. Normal neck pillows don’t work well for me, but this one really felt a lot better because it didn’t push my neck forward, but supported my head to sleep on long flights. This is worth the money.
Surprisingly good sound quality.
This looks a bit odd, but it’s surprisingly comfortable. I have to give it credit for how good the speakers sound, too. I expected the sound quality in something like this to be low, but it actually puts out good quality sound. It paired easily with my phone and didn’t disconnect or cut out while I was listening to music.
Probably my biggest issue with it is the size. It’s quite solid and takes up a great deal of space in carry-on luggage. Even folded up and put in the bag, it’s a bit of a monster if you’re trying to travel light.
Comfortable solution to enjoying audio on the go
If you travel as much as I do, you know the headsets you get at the airport are subpar and make listening to movies or music rather un-enjoyable. This headset is extremely comfortable and provides great neck support and isolation from outside noise. They are not fatiguing and very soft and plush around the head and ears. The sound quality is pretty good and there is volume control right on the head set which makes adjustment convenient. Pairing them up is a breeze and worked flawlessly. The headset comes with a charging cable and an audio jack in case, as most aircraft require, to connect up to their audio. I don’t know how long a charge lasts but it has lasted for several hour flight and we recharge between trips. It’s is about the size of a soccer ball when bundled up in its carry case. We typically wear it on to the plane so it is easy to carry. Of course it’s not limited to air travel and if you have kids or you are in an environment where you want to listen to your preferred content without disturbing others, it works well for that purpose. My wife has confiscated these 🙂 for her own enjoyment and you know the saying, ” happy wife, happy life” so I get the airport headset. Kidding. I do have a backup plan. Good product for us. I think you will enjoy them too.
Very Comfortable
I don’t do a whole lot of airplane travel, but I do use earbuds or headphones at night when listening to the TV so as not to disturb my wife. It seems like I always fall asleep wearing the earbuds and then wake up only to find them dead. Headphones are really not all that comfortable when you try to relax in a lounge chair, so I decided to give this a try. Now, first of all, let me say that these are not a great choice if you’re going to be lying flat or almost flat. The support that runs behind your neck is too thick and puts too much pressure on the neck. After 1/2 an hour or an hour, it becomes somewhat uncomfortable. However, they are not marketed for that purpose. They are marketed for airplane travelers. For that purpose, I think they would be fantastic. First of all, the mechanical sound isolation is excellent. When I’m wearing them, if my wife is sitting right next to me and is talking to me, I can’t hear a word. (Don’t laugh now) I have no doubt they would do great with all of the ambient noise on an airplane as well. I have found these to be most effective when sitting upright or reclining down to about 45, typical for what you might find in an airplane. There are no pressure points in that scenario. As you recline past 45, there is increasing pressure put on the back of the neck. It’s not that it’s uncomfortable, just not suited for long periods of time. Sound quality is quite good. Controls are easy to use. Pairing was quite simple. The cover unzips and is probably removable; however, the instructions that came with mine were very unclear as to how they should be cleaned. In one section, it says to wash it in a washing machine, and in another section, it says not to. Obviously, I don’t think it would be a good idea to throw this entire headphone set into the washing machine. He certainly could clean it with a spray-on fabric cleaner. I haven’t tried to disassemble it, but I think you should be able to actually remove the material cover if you wanted to wash the whole thing. It comes with a handy drawstring storage bag. Overall, I would have to say I really am quite happy with this product.
Surprisingly good combo pillow and headphones
I’m don’t usually use neck pillows when traveling because they aren’t as comfortable for me. And if I want to have headphones on at the same time, it becomes a bit harder. I thought I’d give this a try since it’s a combination of the two. Looks wise, it’s a bit odd, but that’s to be expected with the headphones on there. It came will packaged and with a carry bag. The pillow is soft, yet has a nice firmness about it. The clips on there are the only thing I think are a bit so so. They seem a bit too small and or could break easily. I haven’t had any issues, but just an observation.
The fit around the neck is fine, but to keep the headphones over your ears better, you’ll have to fasten the clip on the front.
As for the headphone part of this. They are actually quite good. When they sit over the ear properly, the sound is decent. This isn’t going to compare to higher end headphones, but it’s also not priced that way. They have decent highs and the bass comes through fairly cleanly. Pairing it to my phone was easy and quick. You can adjust the volume from the headphone if you want. There’s also a port to connect it wired if needed. Charging comes via USB-c and it charged fairly quickly. As for how long it plays, I haven’t played it that long in a stretch to test it but I used it for a couple of hours to try it and it was fine. It’s pretty comfortable when you have it on, and you can lean on the headrest without it causing any audio issues. I think it’s a decent value for what you get. Overall it’s a very good travel pillow that’s doubles as a headphone and would recommend it.
