Built like a tank
Built like a tank! I have replaced three television wall mounts within the last couple weeks, and this one is by far the best. Tilt, and level are extremely easy and very secure. And once this thing is on your wall, you could hitch your horse to it. Very well built.
Very nice bracke
Very nice, well built hardware. It comes with lag bolts to affix the mount to the wall, differing sized screws to mount your TV to the bracket, a small level, a hex key to make adjustments, and spacers for any need. Recommend.
A nice mount with one possible drawback.
For the drawback, the back mounting plate is only 17 in wide. That means if you’re mounting a larger TV, you have to go and between two studs, so you have to hope there’s two studs right where you want the TV. You may be able to get around that with a 3/4-in piece of plywood. You would cut it so the plywood can go into the studs, and then the TV mount can be mounted to the plywood. But everything in the box is there, screws for the back of the TV, spacers if you need them, lag bolts, a small level, and everything is clearly marked. At the moment I have a 42-in TV mounted to it, and the backplate attached right to the TV, I did not need the extending arms. It does stick out from the wall a little farther than the flat mount did, the bottom of the TV is about 4 and 1/2 in out from the wall. It does come with a couple ties for wire management, and a nice template for marking your holes. And it’s always a good idea to pre-drill your holes, I normally use a quarter inch drill bit, it just make sure nothing splits when you’re putting in a lag bolt. The TV easily moves in and out, you can turn it side to side, and if you’re out is not perfectly level, you were still able to adjust the TV to get it level. It’s supposed to be able to hold an 88 pound TV, but if your TV is that big, you need to make sure you’re going into studs. The mount also has an adjustment for the tilt of the TV, and if you need no tilt, there’s another hole you can put the screw into and it will hold the TV perfectly level vertically. Overall a nice mount, you just have to make sure you got the studs to use it.
