Product description

Makes working on small engines so much easier!
This is extremely handy to have on the workbench for cleaning and/or rebuilding an small engine. It makes working around all sides of it a breeze, and even easier to see and getting good lighting into everywhere I’m working.
The frame can swing and adjust as needed, and then it can keep the engine in place so it doesn’t move around on you when you need to keep it from moving. The base is also a drip pan with edges that are deep enough to catch fluids and any small parts or tools you might drop into it. The tray can slide out to be dumped and cleaned, so you’re not needing to unbolt anything or try and clean it out by hand.
It’s an awesome design and makes working on an engine so much easier when it’s propped up like this. It’s even easier on my back since I’m not hunched over constantly while working. It brings the engine up to a more comfortable working level. So nice!
Very functional engine stand.
This engine stand will fit a variety of small engines for motorcycles, dirt bikes etc. The sheet metal is stiff and the welds are good. For what it is, it’s pretty light.
You put the pins through two mounting holes on the engine, and such engines have several mounting holes to mount in the vehicle frame. The largest pin is fixed and has a nut you can screw down on the main engine mounting hole. The other pin is on a base that can rotate and also has several fixing points, so you should have enough flexibility to get it mounted. This pin does not have a nut provided, but I suppose you could add a clamp if you needed to bang hard on the mounted engine.
The whole mounted assembly can be rotated around and fixed in increments of 22 1/2 degrees. The two mounting pins can be installed pointing to either side, depending on where you want this to sit in your shop.
It is said to be only for vertical cylinder engines. Perhaps wider engines would not be rotatable as the spark plug would be hitting the bench, or if the reach is too long, there could be a concern with tipping over. But this is just speculative as I haven’t tried such an engine on it. It seems plenty stable for single cylinder vertical engines.
