Versatile boombox
This boombox has it all – CD player, radio, USB, Bluetooth, and even a remote control. I have never had a boombox that had a remote. The sound is great, and everything is easy to use. I can highly recommend it.
Everything you need in a boom box.
Well, Monodeal has done it again. The MD1013 has features you just don’t find on other boom boxes today. The cassette tape recorder/player is hard to find, but here it is, on the MD1013. I’ve had several boom boxes and this is one of the BEST I’ve ever had. It not only sounds GREAT, it’s lightweight, easy to operate and with dual power (AC/Battery), you can take it anywhere. It’s a good looking machine and the lighted dials really set it off. I have shown it to several friends and they love it, just as I do. So if you’re looking for a super great boom box, THIS IS IT.

Powerful and portable, solidly built boombox..
I bought this to replace my older boombox that didn’t have a built-in CD player. I’ve had some experience with Monodeal before and they make solid products, so I didn’t hesitate to purchase this one. The look of the unit is attractive, with blue accents on the on/off button and volume knob. The LCD is nice to have for the little bit of information that you need in each source. It takes flash drives (MP3s, not WMAs, though), CDs, cassette tapes and FM radio, including a Bluetooth in option. There is an “equalizer” function on the remote and you can tell the difference between all of the settings (rock, jazz, classical, flat, etc), but it doesn’t appear to remember that you had it on the last time you played a CD, so I think you have to turn it on every time. There’s also an “X-Bass” button, but it disables the EQ if you use it. I didn’t really care for it, but it might just be the music I had on. The FM feature works well and you can store up to 20 presets. 3 physical buttons are for your top three stations and then you press the 4+ button and the rewind or ff buttons to cycle through the rest.
It sounds great for a portable boombox and is perfect for small spaces and medium rooms. It takes 6 C batteries if you want to use the portable option and comes with a removable AC plug.
