I have been searching for a bag that does not look like a bulky turtle shell but can actually handle my daily chaos, and this Lovevook backpack is hitting all the right notes. The beige and mustard green color combination is much more vibrant in person than I expected, and it has this clean, modern aesthetic that works just as well in a classroom as it does on a dusty trail. As you can see in my photo, the bungee cord system on the front is not just for show since it actually helps compress the bag when I do not have it completely stuffed. It feels remarkably light when I first pick it up, yet the fabric has a certain thickness that gives me confidence it will not rip the moment I set it down on some rough gravel. The stand up design is a total game changer for me because there is nothing more frustrating than a bag that flops over and spills its contents the second you let go of the handle.
The comfort level is where I am truly impressed because those padded shoulder straps feel like little clouds on my collarbones even when I have my heavy laptop and a few thick notebooks tucked inside. I am particularly obsessed with the giant tumbler holder on the side since it actually fits my massive insulated cup with the handle still attached, which is a rare find in the world of backpacks. I did notice that if I pack the main compartment to the absolute brim, it takes a little bit of wiggling to get my cup into that side pocket, but the elastic is sturdy enough to keep it from wobbling around while I walk. It is honestly quite funny watching my friends struggle to carry their water bottles in their hands while I am trekking along completely hands free and looking significantly more organized than I feel. The various pockets make it easy to find my keys without doing a deep sea dive into the bottom of the bag, and the overall construction feels solid enough to survive my hectic schedule without any issues.

I ordered the LOVEVOOK Travel Backpack for Women & Men with Giant Tumbler Holder, 15.6 Inch Classic Laptop Work College Carry-On Backpack in the Light Khaki Brown color, and this one feels a little more sporty and travel-focused compared to other styles.
The material is really nice. It has a water-resistant feel and holds its shape well without feeling stiff or bulky. It stands up on its own, which makes packing and unpacking so much easier, especially when you’re trying to stay organized.
One of the standout features is the giant tumbler holder. It actually fits a large handled cup securely, which is not easy to find in most backpacks. I like that it feels stable and doesn’t tip or stretch out awkwardly when you have a heavier drink in it.
The storage setup is very well thought out. There are multiple compartments and plenty of pockets, so everything has its own place. I especially like the suitcase-style opening because it makes going through your bag at the airport or packing for a trip much more convenient.
Comfort-wise, it does a great job. The padded straps, breathable back panel, and added chest strap help distribute weight evenly, which makes a difference if you’re carrying it for longer periods. It feels supportive without being too heavy.
I also appreciate the little extras like the luggage strap for attaching it to a suitcase and the anti-theft pocket for keeping valuables more secure. Those small details really make it feel designed for real travel use.

Great travel backpack
I just got back from a long trip using a much smaller backback and really wish I had this in time for my trip. I ended up bringing stuff home from my trip so between my bag and smaller backpack, I was a bit stressed about how everything was going to fit. This bag will definitely be my go-to backpack for future trips! I love the color combination of beige, brown and green and although I’d normally be worried about a beige fabric, unless it gets oil or grease on it, the material seems like it should be relatively easy to clean. But time will tell. It says no washing so hopefully a spot wipe will do the trick if necessary down the line! And the green is on the bottom where it’s most likely to get dirty.
It has plenty of pockets to hold all your various items and I like that there’s a section designated for wet items if you need something to take with you to the beach or pool, it’ll work for that.
I haven’t had a backpack with a chest strap before but I like that this one does in the event that I do use it to carry more things or heavier things to help protect my back. It feels comfortable on me. There’s reflective strips on the straps as well if you happen to be out at night (which I was last year when trekking to a hotel after my flight was delayed overnight and had to find myself a place to stay at the last minute).
The handles on top and side are very sturdy and should hold up very well over time and I LOVE that they added a strap for you to put over your luggage though as another reviewer pointed out, if you have a tumbler in the side pocket, that doesn’t really work well!
Overall, I’m really thrilled with this backpack and can’t wait to use it on my next trip!
