This LOVEVOOK 40L Travel Backpack completely exceeded my expectations and made traveling so much easier and more organized.
First off, the design is both stylish and functional—the pink, beige, and brown color combination is beautiful and doesn’t look like your typical bulky travel bag. But what really impressed me is how much it can hold while still being airline-approved as a personal item.
I was able to use this as my personal item alongside one carry-on suitcase, and with the help of vacuum seal bags, I packed for a 10-day international trip to Japan without checking a single bag. That alone makes this backpack a total game changer.
The storage and organization are incredible. It features 7 zippered pockets, plus additional compartments that make it easy to keep everything in its place. The laptop compartment fits up to a 17.3-inch laptop and is super easy to access, which is perfect for TSA checkpoints. There’s also a small anti-theft pocket on the back that’s great for keeping your wallet or important items secure.
I love the thoughtful extras: it comes with a clear toiletry bag and a separate shoe bag, which helped keep everything clean and organized. The cup holder with an adjustable latch is another standout feature—it actually secures larger cups so they don’t fall out.
Comfort-wise, this bag really delivers. The chest strap helps take pressure off your back when the bag is fully packed, and the two handles allow you to carry it from different angles depending on what’s most comfortable. The luggage strap on the back is perfect for sliding it onto a suitcase handle when needed.
The material feels durable and waterproof, so I felt confident using it in different conditions without worrying about my belongings.
Overall, this backpack is the perfect combination of capacity, organization, and comfort. Whether you’re traveling internationally, heading on a weekend trip, or just need a reliable carry-on, this bag does it all. Highly recommend!
When we travel on planes we try to limit our luggage to one checked bag (a 25″ TravelPro MaxLite) and one carry-on bag. This way we can maneuver around the airport and onto the plane with minimal hassle.
For our carry-on, we usually take our Samsonite backpack and a Swiss backpack because they have numerous pockets for our many items that we keep with us on the plane (passports, iPads, pens, sunglasses, reading glasses, chargers/cords, etc.). The only problem with those backpacks is that they are a bit heavy, and that they do not really have much storage space for a change of clothes.
We bought this Lovevook Travel Backpack because it advertised a big storage area (40L) and having TSA approval for storage overhead as well as the ability to store it under the seat in front of us.
Why we love it:
– The storage area is big! It is basically rectangular and will easily accommodate two pants, two sweatshirts, underwear, socks and still have room for more. Much more space than our other backpacks.
– It’s lightweight at 2 lbs empty
– Although not as sturdy as the Samsonite backpack, it doesn’t need to be to carry clothes and a few electronics onto a plane. It is well built and the stitching and zippers are good quality.
– The pack has both a comfortable top and side handle that makes it easy to carry and load into an overhead
– The built in strap on the back fits easily and securely over the handle on all of our luggage (see pictures of it on both a 19″ and 25″ bag)
– The deep side pocket easily fits a large beverage container (see picture with an 8″ insulated Thermos in pocket)
– It fits well as a backpack (see picture) and is almost as comfortable as the Samsonite
– It has 5 built in zippered pockets, 4 of which are lined to be suitable for wet items
– It looks stylish
The only thing it lacks vs our other backpacks is a carabiner-type hook for our keys, and more outside-accessible pockets for things we access on planes like our reading glasses and electronic cords. But these are minor nitpicks.
We highly recommend this backpack if you are looking for more main compartment storage in your backpack!

This personal item bag is so roomy. In the 17.5×12,5×9 capacity it fits my clothing for a weekend or weeks worth of traveling. This is my 2nd bag from this company and I love it. I traveled to Europe with just a carry on and this personal item bag for a 3 week trip. This bag can be used as a backpack that has padded shoulders for comfort and snaps in the back, or can be slipped over your handle on the carry on bag, or just use the carry on handle. This bag has so many useable compartments. One is for your water bottle, then a separate waterproof area to keep your dirty laundry in or a wet bathing suit, laptop area and so much more. It opens like luggage for easy packing and this bag is foldable when not in use. This is a unisex bag that only weighs approx 3 lbs. It does come with a separate shoe bag and see through toiletry bag. Overall, it’s the best bag I have ever used that is airline approved as a personal item bag, is durable, priced right and fits everything you need. It’s so well designed and thought out!
