It’s Perfect!!
Typically I don’t write reviews, but this is a beautiful backpack! It is exactly like the description and the pictures shown. This is going to be perfect for a 3 to 5 day getaway. It is absolutely stunning and perfect! I have never been so happy with a product!
Awesome for roadtrips, flights, and anytime use.
I am really impressed with this travel backpack. The 40L capacity makes it easy to pack for a long weekend, and the suitcasestyle opening keeps everything organized instead of buried. The included packing cubes are a great bonus. The two smaller pouches work well for toiletries and undergarments, and the shoe bag keeps the rest of the bag clean. It creates a much more streamlined packing experience.
The size is exactly what I needed for short trips, and especially awesome that it is perfect for the flights I never go on these days. At 14818 inches, it fits as a personal item on the airlines listed, and it slides under the seat easily and is also structured enough to hold its shape while still being flexible when overhead space is tight.
The laptop compartment feels secure, and the TSAfriendly layout makes airport security much easier. I like that I can access my iPad quickly without unpacking everything else. Which is also great when accessing my iPad when on a road trip.
The straps are comfortable, the chest buckle helps distribute weight, and the luggage strap is perfect for airport connections.
The material feels durable and has handled light rain without any issues. The colorblock design is stylish without being loud, and the overall look works for both casual travel and work trips. At 70$, I think the quality and included accessories make it a solid value. It feels like it should last a long time.
I also like the color of this, and the other color options, it is nice to have a backpack that is not the same color as everyone else, you know, black.
This has become my goto bag for weekend trips, short flights, and even daily commuting when I need extra space. It is a welldesigned, practical travel backpack that makes packing and moving through airports much easier.
I really like how roomy and practical this backpack is and the color scheme. I ordered the “Sage Green-olive Green-beige” color and it is really pretty modern design and a calm nature-like feel.
The bag is extremely well made with a slick nylon material. For air travel, it is smaller than a large carry-on bag that you can fit in an overhead compartment. While being smaller, it can pass as a personal item and be shoved under the seat, if not fully packed.
Pockets. It has one large main compartment that can be fully opened with the cover flipped. The entire bag is relatively well padded, so the middle compartment is protected. The bag can work for someone who needs to carry some delicate equipment as cameras or lights. Having an easy access to a large compartment really helps in that case.
The back of the bag has breathable padded straps and an adjustable chest buckle. There’s access to two pockets: one large side pocket to fit a large laptop and a small pocket across the bag for some valuables. This pocket requires the bag to be removed from the shoulders to be accessed.
The front of the bag has two large padded zipper pockets. There are two thick well stitched handles on top and on the side of the bag. This allows carrying it either vertically or horizontally.
Quality wise, I didn’t notice any issues, the stitching is well made, even on the small bags for accessories. There are no loose threads or poor cuts. Overall a good craftsmanship.
The side bottle pocket is functional, but the elastic could have been a bit tighter to hold a large bottle. A thinner bottle can simply slip out. This is not enough to deduct a star.
Overall, this is a well made modern looking bag that is practical for travel or for carrying some equipment.
Strong material, solid stitching, but not what I was expecting
I ordered the version that was supposedly configured to support carrying a camera kit (camera body, lenses, flash, etc.) I already have a camera bag, but it is compact, and though it supports my main camera, two common lenses I typically use, and a flash, not to mention batteries, charger, etc., it lacks the space for my very large zoom lens, for special photography sessions. This was meant to support me when traveling with the much larger and heavier zoom. What I got, was a carryon backpack good for clothes, and perhaps a laptop or tablet.
As a camera bag, the version I got will not work, however, as a carryon backpack/suitcase, this is pretty neat. I already had carryon bags and did not really need to buy a new one, but if you are looking for one, and can use a soft-side carryon, this might work for you.
The backpack comes with two small packing cubes to keep things organized, and a larger zippered bag, intended for shoes (to keep dirty shoes from fouling your other clothing) (see first photo below). The back comes with three methods for carrying. One is a padded handle on the long side, another on the top, as well as the straps for using as a backpack. In addition, it has a strap on the underside (on the side that would be against your back if carried that way), that is intended to slide over telescoping handles of your larger wheelie suitcase.
There are several different zippered compartments, one large enough to hold a decent sized laptop. There is also a small, zippered compartment below the suitcase strap, large enough for passports, wallets, and other similar high-value items, that would be between the bag and your back, and secure against pickpockets (see second photo below).
If I were in the market for a new carryon size bag, I would consider this. I really needed the camera bag I thought I was getting though. This is why it gets 4 stars instead of 5.
