Product description

Durable and high quality
Very rugged and durable—feels like it could handle years of regular travel abuse without falling apart or showing significant wear.
The zippers work smoothly without catching or sticking, which matters more than people realize. Cheap zippers fail constantly on travel bags, and there’s nothing worse than having a zipper break while you’re rushing through an airport. These feel solid and well-made.
The bag has lots of compartments for storage and organizing things efficiently. Multiple pockets mean you can actually separate tech gear from clothes from toiletries instead of just throwing everything into one giant void. Makes packing and unpacking way faster when everything has a designated spot.
I wouldn’t say that I would consider this to be truly waterproof in the technical sense—don’t submerge it or leave it out in a downpour expecting your contents to stay bone-dry. But it certainly is water-resistant and could definitely withstand the occasional splash or light rain without any issues. The fabric sheds water rather than soaking it up immediately.
The exterior fabric feels thick and high-quality. Not that thin, flimsy ripstop material that tears easily. This has real substance to it—durable enough for actual travel use, not just occasional weekend trips.
I ordered this in the light green color option, and it looks good in person. Not too bright or garish, just a nice subtle color that stands out slightly from the sea of black backpacks at baggage claim.
Highly Recommended
It's a very good backpack for travel.
Lovevook 40L Travel Backpack.
This is my first experience with a “travel” backpack, so I had to get used to the layout of how the pockets are arranged.
That it really is set up with more of a “luggage” arrangement than it is a daily backpack set up.
If this were a daily backpack, I would not like how closely together the shoulder straps come together, and place weight at the top. However since this is for short time use, it shouldn’t be too much of a problem.
As a carry-on item, it will hold 2 days change of clothes (male) plus just about anything we need, such as personal hygiene supplies, laptop/tablet, cords, spare external drives, etc. and is small enough for overhead compartments, under most seats, or in the lap.
One thing I noted is this huge, deep drink pocket, with a strap to tighten in your container. It’s super deep and big enough to hold most drinking containers (that in my experience TSA won’t let us take on a plane).
It does also have the separate containers, one that appears waterproof, which may be good for storing wet clothes such as pool trunks or a bathing suit. Very nice.
I got the tan unit, and the color scheme and colors are very nice, and have a good visual appeal.
Has extra straps to help keep the main pocket closed if you, like me, end up stuffing as much in there as will possibly fit, on return trips.
> Does NOT have holes in the zippers for small travel locks. But one will fit through the holes for the zipper lanyards. Every zipper has a lanyard, and they are nice.
I could definitely recommend this as a travel bag, or as an arrangement bag for taking things back and forth in a vehicle, could not recommend it as an outdoor camping/hiking, or all day bag. Due to the shoulder strap area arrangement, and compartments not being set up for that type of use. So yeah, it’s definitely intended towards a luggage type use.
Nice travel bag
Because this is a multi listing I want to be clear that I am reviewing LOVEVOOK 40L Travel Backpack for Men Women, Waterproof Carry On Backpack for Work & Travel – Black
This is a backpack in the sense that it has straps and can go on your back. It is not a traditional book bag/carry on bag. Its more like s small suitcase that happens to have straps. Note – The included packaging would be great for long term storage between trips.
Basics: The outer fabric is a middle weight canvas that should do a reasonable job of protecting against the elements and be reasonably sturdy. The inner liner is a lighter fabric that should add to the weather resistance. As far as I can tell the bag is completely lined. I couldn’t find an area where you had less than two layers between your stuff and the outside. This is a big bag – see picture, banana for scale, but Im not 100% sold on it being 40L. Thats based on feel not fact. I have other 40L bags and they feel bigger. In any case, there is a lot of space. The large main compartment has tie down straps to create zones for your clothing that are especially useful if you are using the included packing cubes. The “lid has two zipper pockets, on “water proof” and one mesh. The water proof one does not have a sealed zipper so be careful with your liquids in there. There is a secondary pocket that seems like a laptop area but it is about twice as big as needed for a laptop. I think this is more appropriate for folded shirts, folded slacks and other flat clothing. There is another pocket on the front that is the “true” laptop area and includes pen holders plus two phone sided open pockets. I was able to put a large 17″ laptop in there. Note – there is very little padding under that front pocket so there will be significant transfer of shock from setting it on the ground. On the outside are two sipper pockets, one horizontal and one vertical. These are obvious places for wallets, passport sand other travel essentials. Finally there is a “secret” pocket on the back. The shoulder straps are wide, thick and comfortable. The back panel has good padding and should ventilate well. There is a large handle on the top and a strap to slide this over a carry on handle. There are three packing cubs included – one mesh, one plastic and one shoe bag. Nice addition.
Build: Overall build is pretty good. Seams are a mix of single and double stitched with the most important ones double stitched and reinforced. The zippers are not YKK but they are pretty good with actually useful pulls. All of the large zippers have internal water barriers. A+ there. The bottom of the bag is reinforced and there is padding between the inner and outer layers on most of the bag. I would prefer to never subject this to the horrors of being a checked bag but I would gate check it in a pinch.
This is a good bag for someone who is trying to travel carry on only. Paired with a roller bag you could probably do two weeks of travel without having to check a bag. Alternately you could check a roller bag and pair this with a traditional backpack for even longer travel.
Nice produc
