Sturdy and solid for a nicely competitive price
Just assembled and gave this a try and it was easy to put together and works great. Feels sturdy too, with lots of length to the handle so you get some good torque. Can’t wait to use this properly over some larger parts of my yard. We had a stump shaved down and backfilled recently, and it smooths out the sawdust from that nice and evenly too.

    Sturdy lawn levele
This tool has been well thought out. The rake size is large enough to do the job yet manageable. It has a good weight and a nonslip handle. Highly recommend!

Sturdy stainless steel that actually glides
I’ve been dreading the spring top-dressing for week, mostly because my old standard rake was a nightmare on my lower back and left the lawn looking like a patchwork quilt. This specific stainless steel leveling rake was a total pivot. The base plate is roughly the size of a large computer monitor, but it’s dense enough to flatten out high spots with just a few passes. New York’s spring has been delivering some serious rain lately, and I’m just glad this setup is rust-resistant so I don’t have to worry about it degrading in my damp garage.

The ergonomic non-slip handle has a satisfyingly thick grip, and you can really feel the sturdiness of the stainless steel as you push. I put it through a “stress test” on a particularly stubborn patch of clay and sand near the driveway, and it didn’t flex or deform at all. It’s roughly the weight of a heavy gallon of paint, making it easy to maneuver without it feeling flimsy. I did have a tiny moment of hesitation—the 4-screw assembly is straightforward, but you definitely want to tighten them down with a real wrench rather than just finger-tightening to ensure the handle doesn’t wobble mid-set.

It’s such a relief to finish the front yard and not feel like I need a heating pad immediately afterward.

You can get started very quickly.
My floor originally had many small uneven spots, which would have been very noticeable after laying the artificial turf if it hadn’t been leveled first. After using this rake to push back and forth a few times, the previously difficult to manage sand became very even, and the surface was much smoother, making the overall construction process much smoother. It was difficult to achieve this effect with a regular rake before; this rake is much more labor saving and efficient.

While using it, I found it quite stable to control; it didn’t easily become messy with a single push, and it could gradually level high areas and fill in low areas. After adjusting the length, I could operate it standing up, without constantly bending over, and it wasn’t as tiring for long periods. I spent almost an entire afternoon working on it that day; although I sweated, my hands didn’t feel so sore that I didn’t want to move anymore.

After finishing, the difference was striking; it looked much neater, and it felt more solid underfoot. Now even my neighbors ask me how I did it, and I feel quite accomplished. It’s also easy to store and doesn’t take up much space, making it very practical and worthwhile for someone like me who only occasionally needs to tidy up the floor.
