Amazing Tripod for the Price
Amazing Tripod for the Price. Has all the basic features you can expect from a modern tripod: compact when packed, arca mount, ball head that can be rotated to portrait mode with bubble level, side 1/4-20 mounting point for magic arm or other accessory, splayable legs for better stability or low shooting, center post can be removed and mounted upside down, and replaceable feet. The build feels sturdy, at a good balance between stiffness and weight (this tripod is barely heavier than my Ulanzi Coman Zero Y Carbon Fiber tripod which is shorter than this K&F tripod, and about 1/4 the price). The tripod is easy to setup, can deploy and be ready to shoot in less than 5 minutes.
Testing in indoor conditions, was able to put my A7CR with Tamron 50-400mm and Godox V1 Pro attached (about 5lb load, heaviest configuration I have), fully extended in portrait and landscape mode without any issues. The tightening mechanisms are all well designed and won’t seem to loosen. As with any travel tripod at full extension there will be a lot of shake, so putting even a small weight on the hook will reduce the amount of shake.
The phone mount seems basic and reliable, with portrait and landscape modes.
Overall, extremely great value for the tripod.
Would be great if there was an additional center post extension pole option for lights able to purchased as a package or separately.
📸 They Did It Again — Sturdy Enough for Mom Duty
K&F did it again with this one. This tripod hits that sweet spot of being very lightweight but still feeling like a serious piece of gear. The solid metal construction really stands out—it doesn’t feel cheap or plasticky at all. You can tell right away it’s built to last.
I especially love the quick-connect plate. Makes setting up fast when the action starts and you don’t have time to fiddle around. The built-in level is also a nice touch—no more guessing if your shot is crooked while you’re trying to keep up with kids running across a soccer field.
The orange and black color combo looks great too. It’s not boring, and it’s easy to spot among all the other gear. Height adjustability is excellent—I can go low for quick shots or extend it tall enough to see over a crowd without any struggle.
Bottom line: sturdy, lightweight, easy to use, and reliable. Perfect for busy parents, travel, and especially those long soccer games where you need your hands free but still want steady video. Mom approved all the way.
Solid Travel Companion with a Few Rough Edges
I’ve been using K&F Concept products for a while now, and their gear has consistently impressed me. The build quality of their equipment is usually quite reliable, and this K&F CONCEPT 73″ Aluminum Compact Camera Tripod is no exception in terms of performance.
Portability & Performance
The first thing you notice is how incredibly lightweight this tripod is—it weighs only 2.9 lbs. Honestly, I didn’t expect a tripod that reaches 73 inches to fold down to such a small, compact size. It easily fits into my 20-inch carry-on.
Initially, I was worried it might feel flimsy, but it has proven to be quite sturdy. I use it with my Sony ZV-E10 and a 35-210mm lens, and it holds the setup securely without any noticeable shake. I also really appreciate the integrated hook at the bottom of the center column; hanging a bag there adds significant stability in windy conditions.
Key Features I Appreciate:
Arca Swiss Ball Head: The 40mm ball head is smooth and allows for precise 360 panoramic panning.
Integrated Leveler: The bubble level on top is a great touch for ensuring straight horizons and a quick snap-on for the camera.
Quick Mounting: It’s incredibly easy to mount my camera onto the tripod, saving a lot of time during setup.
The Downsides
There are a few areas that could be improved:
Widening Button: The widening button at the top of the legs feels like it allows the legs to widen too much, and the intended purpose isn’t very clear.
Storage Bag: The included carry bag is unfortunately quite bulky and doesn’t feel very useful for such a compact tripod. The material quality of the bag could also be better.
Documentation: The manual I received was in Chinese, which made it difficult to understand some of the specific adjustments.
A Note on the Included Tools:
The package includes two Allen wrenches. These are intended for tightening the leg joints if they become loose over time or for securing/removing the tripod head.
Verdict
Despite the issues with the bag and the manual, the tripod itself is a great choice for mirrorless systems. It’s perfect for travel and street photography if you need something lightweight, tall, and stable.
Totally worth the money
I love it. Feels robust. The head is excellent, with motions so smooth, feels like a magic. Its easily hold my Nikon z6ii.
The only downside is that there is no options of removing centre column entirely, but for such price, I don’t care
Light and portable, a real value!
This tripod is an excellent value. I really like it’s light weight and the profile of the legs, making it compact and easy to carry. The ball head and all the associated machined parts are high quality and make adjusting it very easy. What I look for in a travel tripod is a combination of size, weight, and stability. This one checks those boxes for me.
Unbeatable price for a sturdy, easy to use travel tripod
I got this for 65 dollars with a 10 dollar coupon. It is absolutely worth it if you are looking for a compact, easy to deploy, sturdy, lightweight tripod. The carbon fibre versions weigh 0.1 lbs less, so unless you are an insect other than an ant, it won’t be a problem. You can screw any head onto it, but the included one is more than adequate. It can do so many positions it made my gf jealous. Also, if you are confused because this company makes seven million versions of the same tripod so was I. This one works for a 22 pounds dslr but also comes with a phone mount which is flimsier than Marie Antoinette’s security team. Anyway, get this tripod and stop spending hours comparing models.

– Altura generosa, permite trabajar cmodo incluso de pie.
– Construccin en aluminio bastante slida sin disparar el peso.
– Rtula compatible con sistema Arca Swiss, fcil de ajustar y cambiar cmaras.
– Soporta sin problema cmaras mirrorless y DSLR con objetivos medios.
– Plegado compacto para llevar en mochila o maleta.
A tener en cuenta:
– No es un trpode ultraligero de trekking, se nota que prioriza estabilidad.
– Para vdeo profesional fluido la rtula se queda bsica.
– Con viento fuerte conviene lastrar para mxima estabilidad.
Conclusin:
Muy buen punto intermedio entre trpode barato y equipo pro. Verstil, estable y vlido para la mayora de usos fotogrficos habituales.
Superb A++++
I’m a semi pro photographer and previously used a carbon fiber tripod which was super light but didn’t provide the strength and stability that an aluminium tripod does. But of course these aluminium ones are heavy. That however is the only downside to this. Everything else is a positive.
Firstly it really looks the part and very stylish. Doesn’t look cheap at all. It is sturdy and well made. The ball head is fantastic and provides you with lots of options in terms of movement. The centre column comes out and can be reversed in order to get those low down shots. Has a hook also for hanging your bag on for even greater stability. Rubber feet are easily screwed on and the legs can be opened quickly with the catches. Honestly this is a superb tripod and I recommend it to everyone from novices to professionals.
