I absolutely love this! The best part for me is that it works with CarPlay, so I can use the monitor I already have built into my car instead of adding another bulky screen to my dash. It keeps everything clean and clutter-free while still letting me easily keep an eye on my baby.
The camera quality is great, and I really like being able to see both navigation and the baby view at the same time. It makes driving so much less stressful since I don’t have to turn around or mess with extra devices.
Setup was straightforward, and it works exactly as described. This is such a smart, practical solution for parents on the go—highly recommend!

This is an excellent camera that is easy to install, easy to operate and has fantastic picture quality for the price point. The camera housing is plastic but holds up well for normal usage. The screen is vivid and has a crisp and clear picture from my usage experience. Overall, at this price point, I find this to be a great value camera system on a budget.
Great quality car camera
I have been very impressed with this camera overall. Although I did try it with my wife’s iPhone, I did not realize at first that it is designed for iPhone, and I use Android, but the main feature I cared about, the camera itself, still works without any issues. The video quality stands out compared to similar products I have tried, and it shows clearly on the vehicle screen. Even in complete darkness, the image stays sharp, which makes it easy to keep an eye on my child at night.
The display options are well thought out. Split screen and picture in picture let me keep the camera view up while still using other functions like music or navigation. The zoom feature is also helpful for getting a closer look without needing to stop the car. Setup was quick and simple, and the system starts up fast each time.
I would hope eventually we could get Android support, but on the plus side, installation was easy and flexible.
Works great with Highlande
This was a little better then expected. The camera has decent quality and works well. In the end, I ended up installing it clipped the the edge of my moon roof to get to see a better view now of my entire back. In the photos attached was my attempt to get it to the middle but going higher worked better. This would stick out too much if put in front of the baby as she would probably grab this. It works great on the back of a headrest if the child is smaller and can not reach out to grab it yet. Otherwise, Easier to place in a spot they can not access so easily. Once paired, this functions well and the device has car play installed in it though my car already had it as well. The split screen and option for smaller in the top corner allows you to use your maps while using the camera. I really appreciated this.
Full functionality iPhone only, but camera portion works for iPhone and android
I really like this camera. Full disclosure, I didn’t read that it was iPhone only and I have an android. That being said, the camera portion, which is really what I was interested in anyways, does still work, regardless of the platform you use. Camera quality is better than most I’ve seen. It displays on your vehicles infotainment system flawlessly. I was especially surprised at how clear it was in total darkness. Zero issues seeing my kiddo at night. The split screen and picture in picture are nice features so you can still use your radio. I also really appreciate the zoom feature to get those fine details and peace of mind without having to stop the car. Pairing was very easy and the system boots up fast. The only detractors for me is I’d like to see an android version of this and the camera requires a usb wired connection to function. My toddler loves it grab the cord and play with it. I think it would greatly benefit from a rechargeable battery in the camera portion. I also found the mounting of the camera very easy and versatile. Lots of different mounting options depending on location and application.
Works great, camera requires powe
So this works exactly as advertised. However there are a few things to point out
1) the car must have originally supported WIRED car play (not wireless like some newer cars)
2) the camera requires a constant power source (no battery)
3) the instructions say this isn’t for anyone under 3. Personally I intended to use this for someone under 3 as that’s really the age these cameras are target for
So for that it gets 5 stars. The picture works, the quality works, set it is simplish and you don’t need to have another monitor mounted in your car to see the back seat.
Now with that said, I won’t actually be using this. I find the screen real estate is far to valuable to give half of it up for a camera. Also when I want to look it’s a bit distracting to change the settings. Since I have room for a monitor I’ll change to a wired monitor (by the wired the wired monitor requires me to run a wire all the way from the baby seat to the monitor so in that respect this monitor is superior).
As a new parent I believe this is a must have. I haven’t installed the car seat yet but wanted to test the camera and CarPlay out. Very easy to use, just connect the dongle to the usb port that connects to the radio, and then connect the camera to the power. Turn on the car and follow the procedure of pairing to your iPhone. You can use the split screen to see the precious cargo and still use CarPlay. The only problem I notice was the camera at one point stayed in red hue and was kind of annoying, however a simple remove power of camera and plugging it back in fixed right away. I see myself using it to also keep an eye on my dog in the cargo area when we go out so not only for baby use! Highly recommend it!!
