Great size mirror!
This Ilios lighted makeup mirror works really well and gives off bright, even lighting that isn’t too harsh. The adjustable color settings are useful since it can go from warm to cool depending on what lighting is needed. The 1000 lux brightness is strong enough for detailed makeup without washing everything out. The 9 inch size a great size, and the 5x magnification helps a lot for things like tweezing or eyeliner. The height and tilt adjustment make it easy to position without having to move around awkwardly. Being cordless is convenient and keeps things looking clean without extra wires on the counter. The battery lasts a long time and charging with USB C is simple. The overall build feels durable and the dimming controls are smooth and easy to use.
It won’t fix your ugly but it’ll help you see your blackheads
The mirror was packaged incredibly well in soft foam. It came with a USB-C to USB-C wire, but no plug. There’s also a fabric for cleaning the mirror.
There’s an off/on button in the back and a place for charging. The front has two “buttons” (not true clickable buttons), one to alternate between the light temperature and one to dim. If I press the dim button, it turns it on and off. I have to hold it down and it’ll keep dimming the light until I lift my finger off.
Overall it feels well made and heavy. The mirror is pretty large. The 9 inch is just for the mirror itself, not for the height of the entire thing. I was pleasantly surprised to see how big it is because I have a smaller, cheaper plug-in lighted mirror from another company. The matte black is nice. The base has a small footprint and looks sleek.
The biggest benefit is it doesn’t need to be plugged in at all times. The light is incredibly bright. I haven’t needed to charge it since receiving it. However I don’t know if it’s worth the difference between this price versus my no-brand $40 one. I still look ugly in both but the mirrors are not at fault.
That being said, I’m more than happy with this mirror. If you use your mirror to put on makeup daily or want to pick blackheads from your giant pores wherever you are, then invest in this so you can get the job done.

This magnifying makeup mirror is even better than I was hoping for. I previously owned a simple human mirror that was great, but ended up not working after a while. This mirror is my replacement, and it is way higher quality and better overall in my opinion. This mirror is a 10 out of 10
This lighted make up mirror is HEAVY! Which is a good thing if you are someone like me who can tend to knock things over when you are getting ready. The quality is great as it offers 3 different shades of color (one warmer and two cooler) that have almost like a dimmer button that you can just hold down and it will smoothly increase and stop when you let got of the button. So it’s very adjustable, much more so than other mirrors that just have an off and one button. The light itself is extremely bright, which can be a good thing if you’re liking your skin that day, or a bad thing if you obsess over seeing every flaw. (Try not to see all the flaws that this super bright and detailed mirror will show you, remember no one else can see them!). It’s a lovely mirror with a very big surface area and is durable, which I know because, despite its weight, I still managed to knock it off the counter and it didn’t break! It IS more expensive than other lighted make up mirrors but that quality more than makes up for the price difference, I recommend it.

* There is a small button on the back to turn on the light. There are two touch buttons on the front to adjust the brightness and the color tone. All of these work perfectly, and you can tune the light to exactly what you need. It is incredibly convenient and easy to use.
* The size of the mirror is larger than most, so it is easy to see what you need to see without having to crane your neck.
* The 5x magnification seems stronger than I expected, in a good way. I’ve used other mirrors with higher magnification, so they said, but this one seems like more. Maybe it is due to the increased size of the glass? The glass itself is smooth, clear, and without distortion.

* I’m thrilled with this mirror. I have tried multiple lighted mirrors in the past but this is the first one that has really worked well. Even though it is pricey, it is worth it. It would make an exceptional gift.
I have a mirror similar to this, only it’s one of those that you flip the mirror to get to the magnification side, so one side is regular and the others like 20x. I liked that I had a magnification mirror, but the magnification was always a little bit warped where I would start to get a headache/ nausea when I would look at it too long; clearly, it was the wrong kind of magnification for me.
When I saw this one, I decided to give it a try because maybe 5x was much more in line with what I needed, and I was right. It’s only the 5x and doesn’t have a flip side to see “normal”.
First, this mirror is solid, it’s heavy. It’s not about to tip over anytime soon. It’s easily movable, you can pick it up and move it to a different spot if you need to, you can pull it closer to you if you need to see better. Keeping it the same distance I would have my computer is perfect, without any kind of distortion. There’s nothing to install with it, it comes with a USB C cord and you use that to charge the lights. Charging tool almost no time at all. The on/off button is in the back; that took me a second to find and you adjust the brightness by holding down the button on the front. There’s a second button on the front that allows you to change the light temperature or color. That’s also a nice feature. The battery life lasts for a good long time and that was actually a substantial improvement over my other mirror, because I don’t have to charge it as frequently. I did notice that it turned off automatically after about 30 minutes, but it took only a second to turn back on.
I got the black base because I’m redoing my main bathroom and I’ve opted for matte black finishes and it matches beautifully.
This is definitely more of an upscale product than I would have gotten in the past, but I’m glad I got it because it’s working out wonderfully and adds a touch of class to my bathroom!
