This HiDock Digital Voice Recorder comes with 64GB of memory. The recorder allows you to through their BlueCatch technology record clear audio directly through your own Bluetooth earbuds or headphones while you’re on a call or in a conversation. It has three convenient modes to use. The “call mode” an be used with earbuds for Zoom, Teams, Google Meet, or online meetings. The “Room Mode” uses dual high-performance ECM microphones and is good for interviews and conferences. The “Whisper Mode” allows you to record notes and/or ideas. This recorder gives professional results anywhere. The playback sound is pretty clear compare to another recorder I have. It has an included metal plate which when used can be mounted on whiteboards, desktop equipment like a pc/printer, or wall via the built in magnet. I like that It’s lightweight, portable and it’s easy to carry around in my purse without taking much space. The quality and craftsmanship is great. I can’t say enough good things about this recorder. It’s not only a good quality recorder it’s also a great buy at this price. Taking advantage of the Lifetime Free Transcription when you buy the P1/P1 mini is probably my next step.
Fantastic help for a cluttered mind

I wish I was in school again because this is absolutely crazy. I know a majority of what is being done is an AI LLM but seeing it all come together in such a useful package is very very cool. I leave it mounted to my laptop and have it closed and I can just hold the wheel and record all the info I need when I’m at work. If I need to be more complicated I do it the full blown breakdown way and feed it a long form rant of me trying to explain an idea that is rolling around in my head to give it to my team and it does a fantastic job consolidating and making it make sense. The newer web portal beta is better than the old one in terms of modernity and ease of use. I am strongly considering upgrading to a paid subscription once I outgrow the free tier.

I bought this HiDock P1 voice recorder as a gift for my son, who’s in college and constantly juggling classes, group projects, and parttime work. He started using it immediately, and it quickly became one of those tools that makes his days a little easier. The recorder itself feels solid and well-made, with a clean, modern design that appears more premium than its size suggests. It’s compact enough to slip into a pocket but sturdy enough for daily use.
The audio quality is excellent, clear, natural, and reliable even in busy study areas or shared classrooms. He told me it captures voices beautifully without distortion, which matches what many other users have said. The AI transcription has also been a huge help when he reviews lectures later.

Good device but check your company’s policy!
Difficult to follow instructions. One word of caution: if you use this recorder for business meeting, make sure your company’s policy allows it as recording might be prohibited to be stored on secondary devices.
I ended up returning the recorder because of this.
