This Hero Company ‘Memento Mori Vita Et Mors’ Stainless Steel Necklace Pendant is wonderful. I ordered it for my son who just turned 18. He has other items with the tree of life depicted on it. and he likes alternative and metal music, so this pendant seemed like a perfect combo for him.
I was pleasantly surprised unboxing this necklace for the first time. It is really nice. It has a nice weight and looks way nicer than expected for $31.99, which is the sale price at the time of writing this review. This necklace also comes in a velvety, black pouch with the word “hero” on it. Ready to be gifted or for storage.

Got this and it’s honestly a solid piece. The pendant has a really cool design, a little different from the usual stuff, and it stands out without being too much.
I’ve been wearing it pretty regularly and it feels sturdy. The chain is nice too and sits well, doesn’t feel awkward or too heavy.

This is a nice necklace with a wonderful message. The chain is heavier than the necklace and it looks more substantial and expensive than it is. The clasp is a standard lobster clasp and is tight and solid. The pendant is removable from the chain and can be worn by itself. The pendant is metal but looks like silver. It’s glossy and reflects the light. The message of Memento Mori is deep and meaningful and encourages people to think about how valuable life is and to love and live life to the fullest. I wasn’t aware at the time I bought it, but the Hero Company who makes the necklace, helps pair service dogs with Veterans who are battling PTSD. I love to support good causes and really appreciate a business that gives back to society. Thank you!
