Quick charging scissor lift charge
The scissor lift battery charger that I had, quit working. I had to find a replacement, but an OEM would take over a week to arrive and it was too expensive, for my budget. I did some research and found the Kegytric brand, scissor lift battery charger. It works with Genie, Skyjack and JLG scissor lifts. Exchanging the chargers was an easy task, all I did was to disconnect the non-working one, clean the terminals and then hook up the new one. It took 20 minutes, at the most. The aluminum housing is solid and is rated IP67 waterproof. That’s important when it is out, in a rainstorm.
The 25A charger is quick and when it is done, it goes down to a trickle charge, so I don’t have to worry about overcharging. The charger stays connected, unless the lift is in use, working on the machine, or storing it for long length of time. Overall, it’s a dependable replacement, for what I needed and I’m pleased with this.
