Why does the screen display less than 20 Amps while charging? Is it defective?
This is normal. The charger outputs max 20A only when the battery is low. As it fills, current automatically drops to prevent overheating. This smart protection extends battery life.
Charger won't detect the battery or start charging?
Your battery voltage might be too low to detect. Use Force Mode: Hold "MODE" for 6s (buzzer beeps), then hold "MODE" for 6s again. Charge for 5 mins to raise voltage, then replug power to resume normal charging.

Easy to use and saves money
I have a car that I rarely drive and I never remember to hook up the trickle charger. So this saved me from having to buy a new battery every year because I’m too lazy to drive it regularly or hook it up.
It’s easy to use – plug in and forget it. And considering the cost of a new battery, it’s a great deal for the money.

If you are looking for a charger for a life po 4 for battery , look no further. We bought this on a recommendation from our neighbor after buying two other chargers , locally. Favorite , very great , and we’re able to charge our dead battery within three hours way faster than the ones we purchase locally.
Cool but missing features
Pros:
It’s a cool little charger. It’s tiny so it’s portable and it gets the job done. The read out for the charge status and sutomatic shutoff are cool. The display looks good in general. The price is competitive too. The fans aren’t too loud so I didn’t find it annoying.
Cons:
Not having a trickle charge mode seems like an oversight for something like this. It would be nice to be able to carry it with my motorcycle and having a trickle charge would make it way more useful. It’s built a little cheap and I am worried it’s going to break. It feels a little sketchy to set it and walk away from it but so far I haven’t had any issues. The connector for the leads is on the smaller side and doesn’t feel robust. The clamps in particular dont have wide jaws and feel cheap.
Small But mighty battery charger. Does everything as expected and needed
Okay so let me just tell you, this battery charger came at the exact perfect time that I needed it to. I was a bit weary that it wasn’t going to work for what I needed because I had two faulty batteries in my car because I have a normal battery and a start-stop battery which is like a lawn mower battery but let me tell you what, this little guy exceeded All my expectations when I used it. And it’s literally one of the easiest things to use once you read the instructions which are very clear for exactly the specific type of need that you’re looking for. I personally had to use it just to jump start my car so I would do the small battery and then the big battery just in case because I knew the small battery was running off of the big battery which was draining that of course so after I would do the small one I’d go to the big one and be good to go. Now luckily I’ve since gotten a new battery so I haven’t had to use this since but this got me through part of my winter no problem.
This charger did exactly what it was meant to do. It charged my batteries. It’s light and convenient and you can keep it right with you right in your car if you prefer but I didn’t prefer to do that because I didn’t want it sitting out in the polar vortex temperatures and destroying the battery.
Also, there are various options of what you can do with this charger. Plus you have different options of what kind of battery you’re charging so you can place it on that setting. It just does so many things. But for me I was just looking to charge my batteries so I didn’t go through the settings to see what each did. Brought from what I can read on the box, which is roughly about maybe six to eight inches long and four to five inches on the sides, which is quite small with big power, you can do many different things. You can repair, you can use it on lithium batteries. Regular batteries. There’s just so many options. Is a 12/24 w smart battery charger. 20 amp. I’m just in love with the thing. It’s not going anywhere anytime soon just in case something happens in the future which, it always does.
The takeaway, it’s always better to be prepared then to be stuck without being able to start your car. And the value is fantastic for the product and all that it does.
