This foldable milking stand is AWESOME!
If you have goats, sheep, or any other small animal that needs milking, hoof trimming or shearing this stand is a back saver and it’s super easy to use. It is very sturdy, which I am very happy about. It takes just a minute or two set up and you are ready to go. I love that the base is galvanized steel, but I am not so sure about the hinges. This also allows waste to fall through and it’s super easy to rinse off when you’re done. It is easy to take with you, since it folds up and you can adjust the height of the stand, the head piece and even widen it for animals with thicker necks. It’s about 4 feet long, so it works for any small breed livestock and most baby animals. I do wish that it had a ramp, but it’s pretty easy for them to hop up, assuming you don’t have to make the legs too tall. You really get a lot of functionality and value with this stand, and it saves your back from having to be bent over all the time, which makes everything seem a lot easier.
Great smaller livestock stand
For what it is, this thing is great. It’s small but sturdy enough to handle just about anything that can fit into it comfortably—sheep, goats, etc. Assembly was straightened and the instructions were clear. It seems sturdy and well-made. Good protection on all parts that give it a good look as well as a nice layer of protection from corrosion.
Surprisingly sturdy, fast to set up, and a total game‑changer for milking
I used this milking stand for the first time yesterday, and I’m honestly impressed. I wasn’t expecting it to be this sturdy, especially since it folds, but it held my Nigerian Dwarf perfectly and made the whole milking process so much easier and faster.
Setup took less than a minute — unfold, lock, and done. The height is comfortable, the head gate works smoothly, and my goat walked right in without a fight. The stand stayed steady the entire time, even with her shifting around.
I also love that it’s lightweight enough to move but still feels solid when in use. For anyone milking small goats or needing a portable option, this is absolutely worth it. It has already made my routine cleaner, calmer, and way more efficient.
Highly recommend for any homestead or small farm.
