Fan of the games or just sci-fi in general, I can guarantee you'll love this show.
As a long time Fallout fan, and someone who enjoys well made sci-fi story, acting, and visuals… This show actively hits on near perfect marks for all these things and so many other categories it does right. I absolutely love what Amazon is doing with this live action adaptation, through and through. Well done, keep it up.

Old School / New School Perfectio
If you are a fan of gaming, (although I am
not) and/or sci-fi, which I am. The good old fashioned kind. Then you will find this story
to be a full course meal and a great desert as well.
Great acting Great cast. Exquisite artwork. The throwback music perfectly done at just the right times. It’s just all there.
    Not just there, but THERE!!!

Want to kill an afternoon? Or a few? Then give FALLOUT a shot. *You’ll be glad you did!*!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersGreat dystopian fictio
Really fun watching. Definitely follows the game, but you do not have to have watched it. Engaging, exciting, funny, and fascinating view into an an alternative, dystopian reality, with multiple players and subplots. Season 2 was better than Season 1 and reflected skilled, very creative character and plot development. Looking forward to more.

    Nailed it!
I have always loved the storyline behind this game and this TV series does not disappoint at all in the telling, keeping the story line for the most part and fantastic scenery adaptation not to mention the very well played characters by awesome actors throughout.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersFallout: When Government Control Feels Too Real
I’ve played the Fallout games, and because of that, I’m deeply invested in this series. I’m really hoping they extend it for more seasons — there’s already talk of it going as far as Season 5 or even Season 6, and honestly, the story deserves that kind of runway.

Overall, I’m really enjoying the series. The world-building is strong, the story is compelling, and it does a great job showing how government power, control, and survival themes play out — in a way that feels uncomfortably relevant. At times it feels like we’re not far off from becoming the zombies ourselves.

The one thing I don’t always love is Lucy’s character, or more specifically, how she’s portrayed at times. She can come off as too naive, and it occasionally pulls me out of the story. There’s also another character whose presentation is more androgynous or gender-nonconforming — I’m not sure if that’s purely the role or reflective of the actor — but either way, it didn’t really affect my enjoyment of the show.

That said, the rest of the characters are fantastic, the performances are strong, and the story stays true to the spirit of Fallout while still feeling fresh. As a fan of the games, I think the series is doing a lot right, and I’m excited to see where it goes next.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersBest season of Fallout yet (yes only two so far, but more to come!)
Fallout S2 is very much in the spirit of an Empire Strikes Back, navigating the story in marvelous ways by advancing the mission and building character depth, without having to conclude the narratives. We have storylines involving the Brotherhood of Steel, the Enclave, the Legion, the NCR, Las Vegas/New Vegas and each of the S1 vaults. It’s a lot to juggle in 8 episodes of roughly one hour apiece, but the frequent shifts keep it feeling fresh and leaves the view wanting more.

Walton Goggins returns in the dual roles as pre-war Cooper Howard and present-day Ghoul. He seems lost or unsure at times in the former, moving without direction and it’s a bit of a step back — but his Ghoul persona remains the absolute malevol-ish master of the series, and the man deserves an award for his portrayal. Kyle MacLachlan likewise shines as dutiful Vault-Tec employee Hank MacLean, with Ella Purell’s daughter Lucy MacLean in hot pursuit from S1. Ella spends a bit too much time with a quizzical look on her face towards the end of the season, but her early banter with The Ghoul is savory. Aaron Moten returns as Maximus and undertakes another dangerous mission, with a bit too much face time (literally, his contorted face inside power armor). There is one serious error, with Macauley Culkin as an ambitions Legion member; it has to be the worst casting since Sofia Coppola in Godfather Part III.

Overall, S2 gets a nod over the already great S1 and leaves fans clamoring for more!

Golden Review Award: 14 From Our UsersLong commercials with bits of show in betwee
So far, season 2 is becoming a disappointment. The episodes are getting shorter but they’re packing the same (or more) number of commercials. It was bad enough paying for Prime and getting commercials anyway, but they are really milking that cow to death. Adding insult to injury, there’s an ad in the corner encouraging me to pay even more to “Go ad free”. No thanks, I did that once and you screwed me over. Not falling for it again. Ease up on the greed there, Bezos.
The show itself is actually pretty good, it’s the presentation that’s subpar.
Did Amazon listen to its audience regarding commercials? Episode 8 had far fewer commercial interruptions, and the plot developed the rhythm good stories do. It was easier to see how the different storylines came together and carried the main plot forward. I called ‘Ol Jeff out for excessive ads, so it’s only fair I acknowledge the improvement. Thx, Jeff, and good job.
