hard to see in daylight.
I haven’t used this on a really dead battery yet. I am counting on the 200 sec. boost charge to charge the battery enough the fault circuit in the unit does not prevent the charger to work. the only other thing I noticed was that this is very easy to read at night. But in the daytime with the sun out, you really can’t see the display. It’s all black. I don’t think this is the only product this way.
Useful charger for mixed battery needs
This came in handy for reviving and maintaining a few different batteries, including one in a truck that had been sitting longer than planned. The charger feels more capable than a basic trickle charger, and the adjustable settings make it useful when working with more than one battery type. The display and automatic functions also make it easier to monitor what is going on without a lot of guesswork. It is compatible with both 12V and 24V electrical systems and the attached clamps make it easy to connect the battery without special tools.
It does take a little reading to understand the different modes if you are not used to battery chargers beyond the simplest kind. Once set up properly, though, it worked well for charging and maintenance duties in the garage. For the price, it feels like a solid value for anyone who deals with stored vehicles, seasonal equipment, or multiple battery types. Best for users who want something more flexible than a bare-bones charger.
Actually revived my "dead" batteries.
When this thing arrived and I saw how small it was compared to my previous chargers, I was not expecting much… all I can say is, never judge a book by its cover! Because this thing works great. I have put two older batteries on it in the repair mode setting and it brought them back to life; they actually hold a charge and sit at 12.6V consistently!

work very well does what it was said to do and so far hasn’t let me down and has brought a few old dead batteries back to life and full working order so it was money well spent.
