Great for gifting
So far this has been an excellent digital frame. I ordered this for Mother’s Day for my 88 year old grandmother. I chose this frame because it uses the frameo app and would allow my family members to add pictures as well. I sent the link to my family and asked them to share pictures. Several of them already had the app and were able to easily add pictures that I could see on the frame instantly. I can see, add and delete any of the pictures as well as add or remove other contributors. So far about 8 people have uploaded around 50 pictures and there’s still plenty of room left. I’m going to send it to my grandmother in a few weeks, in time for mother’s day, and she’ll just have to plug it up. I think it’s going to be a fantastic gift at an affordable price.
It’s got a quality, attractive finish. The glossy black has held its color. The “picture frame” style border looks sleek. The stand is neat and the manual will get you jumping into the wonderful, photo sharing ecosystem of Frameo.
I’ve run the hardware for just over a month and it’s functioning perfect. No crashes, stable, and easy and intuitive to use. The frame has some weight to it and the materials are quality. Value wise it’s a good choice. And a good company to start with.
Full disclosure, it’s not my first Frameo enabled picture frame. But not all hardware is created equal, despite it all running the same software (the Frameo app.) Breaking it down a bit for those new to the product; Frameo is the networking, commenting and photo/video uploading service.
It utilizes a secure cloud and or on board storage for your uploads. You can connect with family and friends so they can react to your updates and vice versa. It really is a brilliant way to keep others in your lives without the need for heavy social media’ish involvement. Little messages and emojis are the extent of your communication. The seamless posting and storage of photo and video are the real appeal. And the app has been honed to a stable, fantastic service.
Tons of frames are available. Really just depends on where your price point is. You can pay for everything from a better, larger screen to a more feature rich platform, with more on board storage. Easy enough to find the companies that make the solid ones. This is a great example. Frameo the app has already been perfected.

Easy to setup and use. Companion app is easy to understand and transferring media from other devices to the frame is almost instantaneous. The calendar feature could be a litle more robust, but it gets the job done.
Frames orientation can be switched between portrait and landscape modes. Its lightweight and can be transported easily. If this frame had a built in rechargable battery it would be truly a game changer. Internet connectivity was easy and stable. Sound quality is alo ok considering the type of device. very good gift.

Photos from our daughter show up on the frame the same day she sends them. The 10.1-inch IPS display looks sharp from across the room, not just up close. Touch screen navigation is intuitive.

At a certain age Its hard to find gift for your parents. But this frame is a garunteed winner! Its a simple pain slick black frame to match any interior. But im sure it can be bedazzled if thats your thing. Its actually super easy to set up. Comes with an sd card you can manaually dump pictures on or you create an account and add photos to the frame remotely. Give other people the link and they can add photos to your frame from anywhere
How cool is that! I can litterally shock my mom with new photos anytime i want. I can make ai write her love notes and upload it for her to stumble across unsuspectedly. Its so fun and shes so incredibly happy. Shes not techy so my sister set up and shes said it was super easy. She sent everyone the link and it was done. Highly reccomend!
