A built-in temperature sensor continuously monitors ambient temperature and automatically adjusts the charging process. If overheating is detected, charging pauses and resumes once normal temperature is restored, helping protect the battery and extend its service life. Designed for automotive batteries, it operates reliably in temperatures from -22°F to 122°F (-30°C to 50°C).
  • UNIVERSAL COMPATIBILITY & SMART DISPLAY – This charger supports 6V–24V lead-acid batteries with clamps, Anderson SB50, or SAE connectors. Compatible with major golf carts like EZGO, Club Car, and Yamaha, with specific voltage settings for deep-cycle and high-performance batteries. The LCD screen shows real-time voltage, current, battery status, and charging mode, making it easy to monitor. Ideal for golf carts, motorcycles, RVs, boats, trucks, and other vehicles.
  • IMPORTANT TIPS – This trickle maintainer is designed for lead-acid batteries and should not be used with lithium or LiFePO4 batteries. Avoid overfilling the electrolyte to prevent spillage. Some warmth during charging is normal. Only add purified or distilled water—never mineral water. For complete instructions, please consult the user manual before use.
  • RELIABLE SUPPORT – We are committed to making your charging experience worry-free. This 8V battery charger comes with a 30-day hassle-free return and a 2-year warranty. For any questions or assistance, our customer support team is available 24/7.

    Works grea
At first, I didn’t think this charger would be much good. But I tried it out on a car that we don’t drive much, and the battery is always needing to be charged. Now my normal charger puts out a much higher amperage than this smart trickle charger, so I have to always monitor my normal charger as it seems to cause the negative wire to the battery to get hot. This Smart Charger is light weight and small, it comes with the normal alligator clips to connect to the battery, and it also has an Anderson SB-50 connector, but not a pair, so if you were to want to install a mating Anderson connector to your battery permanently that it would be a fast and easy connection avoiding the alligator clips. Now it states that it compatible with a verity of battery types like WET, AGM, GEL and a few others. It won’t work with Lithium batteries. Now I have only used it one time and I had it on Smart mode. Once I selected 12V (which it can charger 6V, 8V, 12V, 14V, 16V, and 24V) it showed the percentage of charge and how many volts the battery had, it also displayed how many amps the rate of charging was. As the percentage of charge and voltage increased the amperage rate decreased. So, a trickle charge effect. It does take time to charge at a lower amperage, but no overheating or concerns of overcharging. You can select fast charging, which I didn’t test, that would be a more consistent rate of charge. It is easy to use, and small, so it’s not hard to store. I think this could be my go-to charger when I’m not in a hurry. But as I said I haven’t tried the fast charge setting yet. It doesn’t have a jump start feature like my normal charger, but with the small handheld jump starters that are available, you can pick one of those up and be ready when you need it.

From the kids mini car to family minivan... 48" riding mower to skid steer - this charges them all
Trickle Trickle Trickle! This charger is working like a charm!
    No issues.
    Easy to connect.
Charged up the battery in the minivan that doesn’t leave the farm (use it to haul things through the pasture to the barn and keep fencing supplies in it to drive through the field while putting in t-posts) and the riding mower batter. It works great.
We have another trickle charger that doesn’t have the multi voltage feature. With this feature we can also charge up the kids little car batter and other small batteries that our farm equipment has. Making this an asset for our family and farm. A tool that multi tasks.
I like that it tells me right on the lcd display where it is as far as level of charge goes.
You just select the voltage and charging mode.
It has two different attachments for charging: Alligator clamps and the Anderson SB 50. Giving you a 5 foot cable from the charger to the battery. The cord for the charger going to the household outlet is about 6 1/2 feet long. Plenty of length in most situations. A heavy-duty extension cord can be used if necessary.

Good charger at a budget friendly price tag for all the features it has.
Glad to have a second charger so we have one at each farm location.

    Feature packed intelligent charger!
This compact charger is perfect for maintaining mower batteries. It features a “Smart” charge and a “Fast Charge”. It will also charge from 6 to 24 volt batteries, and from 3-200 amps. The Smart technology selects the best charge rate for the selected voltage and battery capacity. On this battery, it started the charge slowly, ramped up the charge voltage, then settled into a trickle charge after the charge was complete. The unit is compact for easy storage, lightweight for packability, and will handle any battery I have. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, as the alligator clips feel fragile. They will work fine for occasional use, they are just not built for abuse. At this price point, the clips shouldn’t be a deal breaker on a purchase.

Seems to be intelligent. Only for lead batteries, not for any type of Lithium batteries.
This battery charger is a fairly small and light unit without a handle. It has a thin metal case. The alligator clips are OK, but not heavy duty. I have seen worse. The cords are rather short and I needed an extension cord in order to use this charger, even though the outlet was only about 6 feet away from the car. It comes with an Anderson SB 50 connector that can be plugged into the charging cord in lieu of the alligator clamps, but that’s pretty useless unless you have a mating Anderson SB 50 connector attached to the battery you are charging. The mating connector is not included.

The charger appears to be pretty smart, although it did not automatically detect the correct voltage like claimed. I had to set it to the voltage I want. It can be adjusted to the following voltages by pressing the voltage switch: 6, 8, 12, 14, 16, 24.

This charger is only for lead batteries, not any kind of Lithium, although it should work for those if you keep an eye on the charge of your lithium batteries. Best practice is to not use this at all for Lithium ion and LiFePo4 batteries and get a charger that supports those types of batteries.

I set this charger to 12 volts via the switch before I hooked it up to an automotive battery that was as 12.2 volts. I first set it to Smart Charge and it started outputting 4.86 amps and then went down to less and less amps as the battery got more charged. I then got curious about what the Fast Charge setting would do, so I switched the mode from Smart Charge to Fast Charge. At that point the battery was about 75% charged and on Fast Charge it put out 4.16 amps, which was about 2 amps higher output than the Smart Charge setting was putting out at that time. I then put it back to Smart Charge until the battery was fully charged.

It took several hours to reach full charge on the Smart Charge setting. It was only putting out around 2 amps most of the time when on this setting. I’m sure it would have charged much faster if on the Fast Charge setting.

The readings on the lower left portion of the screen do not seem to be adjustable. The charger just does what it wants and informs you of what it is doing. I saw readings that said either “Constant voltage”, or “floating charge”.

The manual is totally confusing and was not much help. Reading it seems to imply there are many more adjustable settings than there are, or at least that I was able to discover. There are only two buttons to press, and I pressed them both at different times. The left button only changes the setting from Fast Charge to Smart Charge, and the right button only changes the voltage. Once hooked up to a battery, they don’t have any effect, so you must set them prior to hooking up to a battery.

So basically you don’t have a lot of control over the settings, and it does what it wants to do. However it seems intelligent and makes the right decisions, so this just makes it easier to use. Just choose the right voltage and how fast you want to charge, and let it do it’s thing. I like it.
