    Keeps water cold, straw a little narrow
    Overall I really like this jug! There’s a few awkward bits about it that I’m learning to live with, but would be interested in seeing improved for another version possibly in the future. I swapped from a 1 gallon jug down to this 64oz and I’ve found I’m actually drinking more water, as it is less weight and therefore less of a chore to carry this around. The short version is:
    – Keeps water cold all day, no leaks
    – Straw is a bit narrow for the size of the jug/mouthpiece
    – Strap clips feel a little big but work well
    – May need a silicone boot for protection and traction

    So when I first got this, the straw was impossible to drink from. Drinking out of this was it’s own workout. If you’ve ever had the experience of trying to drink a freshly made, super thick milkshake through a straw – it was that level of draw required. I figured it is because the straw itself is so narrow, more narrow than I would expect from a 64oz jug. However, I gave it a chance and it broke in a bit and has become easier to sip from. The straw size still feels small compared to the width of the sip mouthpiece though, and I think it could be widened for easier drinking.

    The jug does keep water cold all day, it does need a fair bit of ice if you want it to keep the ice all day, but still does a great job at keeping things insulated. The chug spout works great, and has its own silicone seal inside the lid. I haven’t had any issues with leaking from any opening. The keg style top is really cool, kinda looks like a propane tank also. I will say it is a bit awkward to pick up though. I was used to a jug that had a handle, but its a little awkward. Just takes some getting used to.

    The carrying strap is strong and sturdy and works well. Another note on awkwardness – the long rectangular clips are very sturdy, but they kind of get in the way of the sip lid as they stick out a bit. I think a more streamlined, narrower clip may feel less clunky, but not sure how that would be executed with the width of the strap.

    The outside coating feels strong and durable, but there is no grip to it at all. I ended up buying a silicone boot/strap combo to both protect the bottom from getting scuffed up and give it a little more traction on slick surfaces like countertops and the weather seats in my car. Also helps with unscrewing the lid, gives you a better grip point. (For anyone else looking for the same thing, look up the “Greant Double Protective Water Bottle Boot”in 64oz size – it’s a perfect fit). The white color is a true white, but that does mean it shows scuffs immediately. I’ve been able to get them off pretty easily with a regular sponge for the most part.

    Great value for what you get though, and I’ll probably get another one in another color down the road!

    Best water bottle I have found
    I am out and about a lot and always like to carry water with me. It is good for hiking, at the gym, on business trips or anywhere. I have tried a lot of different bottles. Some are too small and I run out of water, some do not insulate well and some are more difficult to use when I am carrying other things. This is the best solution I have found. It is easy to carry, insulates very well, it holds plenty of water and I can open the straw tab with one hand. The entire top comes off so it’s easy to clean and it is strong (only dropped it once so far, but no dents or scratches). I am very happy with the design and quality of this water bottle. It has become my go-to for any outing. It is a great drinking jug for a great price.

    Flawless, functional hydration solution!
    This gorgeous hydration vessel by Bubba is everything one could ever need for a full day worth of hydration! The design is phenominally functional (they truly have thought of everything), the craftsmanship is flawless, and the neutral asthetic is elevated.

    Upon examination, each component feels solid and of very high quality. There are silicone gaskets in place to form leak-proof seals on both the main lid, as well as the chug cap. The sip spout is extremely secure and takes a strong push to open and close. This thing is bona-fide leak-proof and tight sealing! The soft, glowy ivory shade of the powder coating is beautiful, and the nylon carry strap feels silky soft like a seat-belt.

    The stainless steel interior is flawless. I cannot see or feel a seam anywhere on this thing, even carefully feeling with fingertips and edge of nail. It must be around the very top and potentially bottom perimeter as that is usually how these things are constructed. Due to the seamless nature of this vessel, I do believe the claim of zero potential for lead exposure.

    The feel of the interior has a faintly textured quality to it, much like Hydro Flask’s design. Despite how “smooth” it is, this is not a slick, pure finish. To be honest, I havent been able to find one anywhere with a non-textured finish at this capacity. The surface *is* significantly less textured and appears much higher quality than others I’ve tried from big box stores, so I’m quite pleased.

    The caribeener-style clasps for multiple carry options are ingenious! With just an inward squeeze of the buckle, the metal loop pops open almost as if spring loaded, allowing you to attach the straps in a variety of combinations. They can clasped to jug itself to carry either over the shoulder or cross-body style. The end clips could also be attached to themselves or something else if you prefer keeping the soft strap material against the plastic handles. The built in handles themselves are awesome- this is going to be the handiest way to maneuver this thing imo. Regardless of where you plan to tote this thing, its going to tag along with ease!

    Although designed for cold beverages, this could also be used for hot. To do this safely, remove the straw and only fill to just below the plastic components. If doing this, please only pour hot liquid out into cups- never drink directly from vessel! It may not stay “guaranteed hot for hours”, but could potentially allow a short carry. This could be perfect for a few cups of cocoa or tea you’d like to take down the road.

    Ultimately, this is the perfect vessel for staying hydrated wherever life may take you. I know I will be using this frequently from here on out! It’s the “fill it once and go” solution for every day, or to provide extra fluids during sports or hot weather. The multi-functional as pect makes this a great value for the money, and the quality build is going to last years without a doubt!

    Functional design with good capacity
    I work in a warehouse and needed a way to keep more cold water on me and this bottle has been great so far – the size isn’t as bad as you would think for the capacity. Pictured is a comparison to my 32oz hydroflask. It keeps ice for longer than expected, probably even longer in the lighter colors. Easy to clean even with the dual function lid, and I have yet to experience any leaks. As I think somebody else mentioned, the straw doesn’t flow quite like you think it should but it works.

    Trs satisfait!

    I have this about a month so I feel confident telling you about it .

    * I have purchased a few off brand bottles off amazon and I feel this branded bottle is of a higher quality. The plastics on this bottle are thicker and more sturdy. The paint finish on this bottle is more scratch resistant. I do not feel this bottle is better at ice retention:

    * it’s big and tall ! The lid oddly adds about 1 to 2 inches to the overall height .

    * The lid also has two built in handles in addition to the big handle on the side . I purchased the 52ounce model and it does not come with the carry strap . I was able to purchase the Bubba branded matching strap from my local big box store ( red dot store ) I was also able to purchase an extra lid at the same time . I’ve dropped other bottles in the past and generally the lid will break. It has not happened with this bottle but I’m prepared if breaks.. I feel the carry strap greatly improves the experience with this bottle ! It’s worth searching for. I personally only found it sold separately at the store I referred above and it was $7.00!

    * The bottle is wide mouth , therefore easy to clean and refill .

    * Two options for drinking . The straw/mouth piece is large and kind of feels big in the mouth. The gulp option is under an attached twist off lid. Oddly it’s a little quirky in that you have to hold it in only one way to access it . Hard to explain but if you buy you will understand.

    * The mouth/sio/straw option has a concerning issue. Under the lid the straw that goes into the liquid is detachable from the mouth piece. That’s good for cleaning but it comes out a little too easily. And when you’re filing the bottle with lots of ice and liquid it can be hard to screw the lid on without dislodging the straw piece. I can be frustrating.. especially if it happens where you can’t clean your hands to fish the straw piece out . Also you only get one of the straw pieces and I have not been able to find it sold separately.

    * Regarding keeping your drink and ice cold. I find that if you fill it up with ice then add liquid it keeps the ice longer ( even overnight) . However it f you just put say half way up or less of ice cubes they melt within a few hours the drink stays cool for hours but it’s watery with ice . I rather fill it to the top with ice and just add more liquid as needed .

    In closing its a great bottle with a few quirks. I feel the overall quality is good enough to deal with the quirks . But get the strap if you can it’s a great accessory !

    Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersGreat Looking Water Jug That Actually Keeps Drinks Ice Cold
    I bought this Bubba insulated water jug for my husband and he absolutely loves it. The first thing he noticed was the design — it looks sleek, smooth, and modern without being bulky or awkward. The light blue color is really nice too.

    Performance-wise, it does exactly what we hoped it would do. It keeps water or any drink, ice cold for hours, even when left sitting out for long periods. He uses it every day and likes having the option to drink from either the straw or the pop-off top depending on what he’s doing. That flexibility is a really nice feature.

    Pros:

    * Stylish, sleek design

    * Keeps drinks very cold for a long time

    * Holds a large amount of water or any drink

    * Multiple ways to drink from it

    * Easy to clean

    * Does not leak

    * Feels sturdy and well made

    Cons:

    * It can feel a little heavy once filled completely, especially with ice and water

    * it does not fit in most cup holders

    The weight honestly doesn’t bother my husband at all because the insulation and large capacity make it worth it. Overall, we both feel this was worth the cost. It looks great, performs well, and feels like a quality product that will last.

    Very practical
    Its really functional, I always look for wide opening bottle to easily clean and this is one. Its handle is built in and you can make yourself a braided one. So possibilities of many with this bottle. Keeps my ice water cool for 12 hrs.

    Upgraded to this from my cheapo Big Gulp jug. Love this. Water stays cold, ice stays frozen for quite a while, even on hot days. The handles are amazing, you can hold this keg/jug from pretty much any part of it, very comfortable to hold. High quality product though the ONE thing I would love to see improvement on is the straw durability. The straw does sometimes come loose or fall out if there’s too much ice.

    Much cheaper than other insulated bottles of the same capacity. I like the hefty size and keg style handles. Straw is a little on the slower side for flow, but not horribly so. Have had no issues with leaking or temperature retention.
