Excellent Mini
I ordered the Mini S12 for my home office. This mini pc performs better than its size would suggest. It’s quiet, upgradable, and fits nearly anywhere. I ordered the Pebble 2 keyboard and mouse combo from Amazon to use with it. The Mini S12 is perfect for performing most general tasks, such as web browsing, streaming media, and running my home office programs. It handles some less-demanding games, indie games, and 2D games well. Windows 11 Home is preinstalled and runs smoothly. The Beelink Mini S12 would be a good upgrade from an older computer or a useful second computer for family members. This mini pc is a good value for the money.
Perfect machine to run bare metal Proxmox services
I’ve become a big fan of these mini PCs. I actually have several of them and am currently building out a Proxmox cluster with a remote disaster recovery site, and this particular unit is now running Proxmox Backup Server at that remote location. Paired with two external 5TB hard drives, it gives me a very capable private cloud-style backup solution without having to expose my data to the public internet. For that role, it has been more than enough in terms of memory and processing power, and it handles bare-metal Proxmox services very well. One of the biggest advantages of these units is the value—they let you build out a capable homelab or small infrastructure environment without spending a fortune on enterprise hardware. In a cluster with my other Beelink devices, I can spread workloads around efficiently and still keep costs reasonable. For anyone looking for an affordable, compact system for virtualization, backup, or homelab use, this is an excellent option.
small but decent light use mini pc
This mini Pc is a decent light duty computer, it is not a gaming PC. It works great for web surfing, some browser games, and some office work. This computer comes preloaded with Windows 11 home and has an older Intel cpu with the graphics integrated (built in). It only has 8 gigs of DDR4 sodimm ram (laptop ram) so if you have any laptop ram that is DDR4 and 3200mhz that is 16 or 32GB, you can swap it out. It comes with a generic 256GB m.2 sata stick but it has a second slot and the bios indicates it can boot off nvme so if you have one, try it out.
The mini PC is very small and includes a vesa mount to hang it off the back of your monitor. It is an EOL product from what I could research but it is still decent for light use.
