This is my second wireless camera system that is installed on a Grand Design Imagine RV towed by an F250. The previous system was unable to handle the distance from camera to screen. This system has no problem with the the 48 feet of distance. Installation was easy except the camera wasn’t working and they had to send me a replacement (customer service was efficient). As other reviewers pointed out, the screen is extremely small, and I’ll be looking for a larger model in the future. The screen is not compatible with different mounts like a more standard 20mm ball would allow, so you are stuck with the cheap factory mount which limits options. I gave it 4 stars because of the small screen and limited mounting options, but was happy with the overall performance and customer service.
Straight forward install for pre-wired trailers at a reasonable price. The 7.2″ wide angle monitor is right sized and clear without cluttering the dash. So far the connection has been stable with a 23 ft trailer and it provides a good view when backing into a congested area. The system supports side cams with built-in marker lights if you find that necessary. I highly reccomend the Auto-Vox WF1 if you’re looking to add a parking aid, especially for a solo traveler.

Trs satisfait pour mon usage. Je l’utilise comme mirroir arrire sur ma roulotte. J’ai soulev l’inclinaison de 25 degrs et profit du courrant des feux de position (trs simple installer (la longueur de fil fourni est gnreuse). L’cran est monte sur mon rtroviseur de vhicule (mme rflex que sans remorque). J’ai d me “patenter” un support pour rtroviseur. (Ce serait bien dans le kit plutt que le “gugus” coller.
Great backup camera
Nice clear picture. I replaced an Auto-Vox camera that was 5 years old as it had been stepped on and the mounting went with my old Bronco when I traded it in. So with this camera, I purchased the mounting that sticks to the windshield. I knew technology would have improved in 5 years and it has. It is easier to use. The screen is bigger and the picture is better.
Great alternative to those other brands
The camera works great. You can see vehicles at least 100+ feet behind you. Setup was easy as my trailer was prewired already. Just plugged it in, screwed it down and did a resync with the monitor. Some different mount options would have been nice, but the dash mount works fine. Customer support was great to work with. I had some issues with the camera, but they quickly sent out a replacement. They are very easy to work with and dealt with the matter very quickly and professionally.
Excellent customer service
I had an issue with the camera not working properly. I worked with Lillian at AUTO-VOX customer service. She was timely in her responses, understanding, professional, courteous, helpful, and ultimately replaced the camera which is now working flawlessly. It was a breeze to hook up. Our RV is only 20′ so we have had no connection issues. You get quality images and it is not too bulky on the dash. It is a very cost effective backup camera.

Certains critiques la taille de l’cran mais moi j’apprcie qu’elle ne soit pas trop haute, comme a elle ne bloque pas ma vision vers l’avant. On voit trs bien ce qui se passe l’arrire.

It was really easy to install because the trailer was pre-wired for it and it fit exactly. We used it on our trip to Michigan, roughly 2,000 miles round trip, and it worked really really well. My only regret is I didn’t get one of these sooner.
It’s great for when you’re on the road you can see what’s behind you and when you buy fuel, if you need to back up it’s great. When you get to your Camp place it really comes in handy if you need to back in.
One thing you have to get used to is, objects you see behind you are much closer than they look.
Easy install on travel trailers pre wired for Fusion. Picture is clear with very good resolution. Primarily used as a rearview mirror, and used wide rubberbands to place on the rearview mirror so I stop looking at just the front of the trailer. It also helps to read the manual, as it took me 1/2 hour to figure out that you need to leave the tow vehicle headlights on to power the camera.
