Great quality mini grass mats! The turf looks very realistic and the size (6×6 inches) is perfect for small DIY projects, decorations, or model displays. The Best Direct Selection for Party Decorations
For my daughter’s garden-themed birthday party, I used these tiles as table runners. I laid the12x12in grass patchsquares end-to-end down the center of long banquet tables. You get six 12×12 inch tiles and they look pretty realistic from a normal distance. Color variation helps so it doesn’t have that flat neon green look cheap turf gets. Size works for small decorative stuff like table displays, craft projects, but it doesn’t do much covering a bit of patio.
The grass sheds though. When I unpacked them and moved them around loose pieces came off more than I expected. Not falling apart but you’ll want to shake them outside before putting them indoors. Shedding slows down once they’re in place.
Each tile is porous which is useful if you’re using them outside or in planters. They fit together side by side easy but you can see the seams up close if you don’t match them up just right. You can kind of comb or blend the edges to make it look a little better, but you would want to tape them together from the back side in my opinion. Being able to trim or make them fit around something is really what is valuable about these. They do smell a little funky, and they aren’t super thick. That isn’t bad on thickness because you can put lightweight stuff on it and it still is stable.
Work best for light decorative use not high traffic areas. Look good for displays but the shedding is annoying.
