Very Quie
I personally feel like this isn’t your average tower fan. First off it looks so much nicer than the other ones you can buy at Walmart. It is a little big bigger but I like that because it just puts out more airflow. When this is on you can defiantly tell the difference. I have a smaller living room but this fan makes the whole room much cooler when it is on. It also works great to cool off my classroom.
There are a bunch of cool setting that I feel like most fans do not have. You can change modes on the screen or with the super cool remote. The remote honestly is a game changer. I love that I don’t have to get up and go all the way across the room to change the settings or to turn it off. It is so helpful and such a great idea.
Overall it is well made and fairly quite. Its defiantly more quite than some of the other ones I have tried before. This one makes a good amount of ambient noise but it won’t over power a room. Mine spends a lot of time in my classroom and I don’t find that I have to talk louder to drown out the noise. Well worth the price.

This review is for the Antarctic Star T36 Tower Fan-36 Inch, Bladeless Oscillating Fan with Remote.
I’ve not had a tower fan before, so this was my first experience with one. Typically we’ve purchased another popular brand of floor-standing fan with the traditional large fan head. I’ve not been happy with the reliability of our old fans, and they take up a lot of space.
Enter the tower fan. This is perfect for our living room as it takes up very little floor space. It works just as effectively, and this particular fan has additional features that I like.
Highlights:
– Unlike some of my other fans, this fan remembers the last setting you used. So if you like to run it at a certain speed with the oscillation turned on, that’s exactly what you’ll get if you turn it off and turn it on. No cycling through settings to get back to where you were.
– Very quiet operation. It has a wide range of fan speeds and the lower settings are nearly imperceptible. It also has a sleeping mode that’s supposed to feature quiet operation but I don’t use that in my living room. The sound is also pleasant – no rattling or buzzing.
– Has a remote control that works well and is very handy for controlling every setting.
The top of the fan looks a little bit like a scuba diver, but it does put the controls up top right where you can best reach them. The controls are large and easy to read. You can set the display to stay on, or turn off after a few seconds (like for a dark room). There’s an audible beep that can be enabled or not to let you know your setting has been changed (I keep it off).
There are six speeds which offer a wide range of cooling performance. The oscillation setting rotates the fan a considerable amount. It’s great for ventilating an entire room, maybe too much swing if you have the fan next to you.
This fan excels at whole-room ventilation. I have no complaints about any of the features, and the quality seems to be good. If I needed another fan like this, I would definitely purchase another, or one from this brand. Recommended.
Perfect for the warmer weather we've been getting in Florida
This has been a great addition for keeping rooms cool without taking up much space. The slim design fits easily into a bedroom or office, and the white finish gives it a clean look that blends in well with most setups.

Strong airflow, quiet, and great features
I’ve been really happy with this fan so far. It has 6 different speed levels, and the airflow is strong even at the lower settings. It cools the room quickly and does exactly what I need. One thing I really like is that it’s not noisy. There are multiple modes, including a quieter sleep mode that works great at night without disturbing sleep. The different modes actually feel useful rather than just being there for show. The design also looks modern and clean, which I like. It feels like a well-made product overall, and the quality seems solid. The only small issue I ran into was after I accidentally knocked it over. The connection between the base and the fan shifted a bit, and now the power cable comes out from the front instead of the back. I’m planning to take it apart and adjust it back, so not a dealbreaker—just something to be aware of. Last but not least, the remote control helps a lot. I don’t need to get off bed to turn it off or change mode or speed. Overall I think it has great value, great performance, quiet operation, and nice design.
