Funny and better than the original
This movie is Meta humor at its best and features terrific and hilarious performances from Jack Black and Paul Rudd. Stunning picture and audio quality that makes this a good watch any time of the year.
Great funny movie!!
I loved it, I love Paul Rudd and he can’t do any wrong. It was funny and over the top like all Jack Black movies but it was great. Watching it again since its now on Netflix.
Weirdly inspiring and terrifying
Honestly one of the best movies remakes reimagine I have seen it is full of action and suspense like the original but it gives a layer on chasing your dreams and it is inspirational. And of course Jack Black is super funny and Paul is as always hilarious
It is ok
My husband rented this movie for our family to watch last week. It was alright. It is funny. It brings back characters from the original movie such as Ice Cube and J Lo. Which was pretty cool. I just don’t personal don’t like the idea that people are intentionally looking for a snake to make a movie about. But, everyone has their own likes. My husband really enjoyed it. He would watch it again. I would not.
Silly but enjoyable for fans of Jack Black
So, yes, it’s silly. As someone who really liked Anaconda the first time around, there wasn’t a lot of new material to work with and I think they did a good job with the storyline. That being said, this is a Comedy… not a Horror movie. And it made me laugh.
Funniest movie I've seen in a long time!
Do you ever feel like nobody is making funny movies now? I feel that way all the time. Maybe they’re afraid of getting canceled, but who knows. Today, if there’s something funny in a movie, it’s brief – but comedy never seems to be the main “theme” of a movie (these days).
This movie is so dang funny, I literally couldn’t breathe. The whole cast is pretty good, but Jack Black sells it, man. I want to watch it a 2nd time to see if there’s more that I don’t pick up on.
Aside from comedy, there’s a little nostalgia to the movie too. No spoilers, so if you watch it you’ll know what I mean 😉
