This Amico Bathroom Exhaust Fan with LED Light, 80 CFM, 0.9 Sones, 1000LM, 5CCT, 90 CRI, Ceiling Mount Shower Ventilation Fan, No Attic Access Needed, 4 Inch Duct, ETL & FCC is nice.
It’s a typical standard 9″ square with an 8.8 inch cutout. It will replace the majority of bathroom fans without any ceiling work.
It’s well built, reasonably quiet, and has a dimmable LED light.
This fan has a standard 4″ exhaust and is a quick install if you know what you’re doing.

After replacing our old exhaust fan with the Amico exhaust fan, my husband said: “this new fan is crazy! The difference is night versus day, peewee golf versus the PGA tour!” Lmao.
And he ain’t kiddin’. We needed to enlarge the hole in the drywall by only a few millimeters but it made a powdery mess in the bathroom. We flipped the fan switch on to test it, stepped back and we could see tiny particles from around the room coming from every direction, being sucked up and vented out the ceiling. Whaaaaat?! Crazy! But it’s also super quiet! No idea how they do it but it’s super powerful and quiet. I ended up asking my husband if we could install more But in the walls in various places around the house So that maybe I won’t have to dust as often. Hahaha.
Honestly, I did not expect it to work as well as it does. I have been so accustomed to this weak fan that we have had for so many years that I thought that’s just how they work. NOPE! This is infinitely better!
We are not quite finished painting the bathroom, but our accent color is black. The vent cover came in white but I decided to spray paint it to match the other fixtures and hardware. That’s why it looks different in my photos. It took the paint very well. Super easy.
The other thing I love is the 3 different color options for the light. I chose the most amber colored one. It’s lovely.
Strong fan, comes with everything you need, relatively easy installation with clear instructions (including the video on the listing itself), choices for light color/brightness, and it’s quiet for how much power you get. Can’t ask for better than that. I am so glad that I ordered it. 10 out of 5 stars.
Good quality exhaust fan with light!!!
Really good quality exhaust fan! This fan makes very little noise and the CFM is fantastic for the price. The installation wasn’t as straightforward as I expected, but that might change based on your scenario. I had to make some modifications to the cutout before I could fit this in and if you wish to have separate controls for the light and fan, you do get the option of you can connect them both to the same line to keep it a simple one switch control. The 5CCT controls gives you a good range of cool to warm color tone to match your existing lighting temperatures. The instructions were clear and you get three brackets incase the joists are too far apart, but if you are installing the brackets I highly recommend using attic access if you have it to make it considerably easier than trying to install the brackets and sliding this in using a 8×8 opening. Overall a good quality fan for a very reasonable price. Longevity of the product is yet to be seen!
