Love how much easier my embroidery practice is with this hoop stand! This stand is made of a high quality wood that holds my hoop firmly in place and is easily adjusted for the ideal angle. I love having a solid surface to be able to step away from my project for a break. I am also able to work for extended periods of time on a project with this stand as it’s so much more comfortable to hold and for my posture.

It’s well-designed and adjustable, with poles that can move toward or away from the middle, making it versatile enough to hold whatever size hoop or frame you’re working with (up to 11 inches). You can rotate it easily to find the perfect angle for whatever you’re trying to do.
The poles have clamps that hold your hoop stable and steady. More steady than using your own hands, and the bonus is you’ll never get cramps! If you’re working with a couple of smaller pieces, you could even clamp two of them at the same time.
It’s made from sturdy beech wood that has been sanded smooth. For such solid wood, it’s very light and not a problem to have on your lap for long periods of time. It has a base, so it can also be placed on a table or desk for more stability.
All in all, this is a great hoop stand and is a solid value for the price. I’ve been using it daily since it arrived. If I had to name something that could be improved, I’d say it would be nice if it had been coated to make the feel of the wood smoother. Of course, I have now put that on hubby’s to-do list.

It is made of natural, unfinished beech wood and has a simple, clean look. Assembly was easy and straightforward, with no tools needed, which I appreciated. Just be aware that the embroidery hoop itself is not included.
The stand is sturdy overall and feels like it is made from good-quality wood. Once I got everything positioned correctly, it held the hoop well enough for stitching. I did have some difficulty at first getting the hoop to sit securely without slightly warping it, but after making a few adjustments, it worked out fine. The stability is good for regular use, though it does take a little patience to find the right angle and tension.

I think staining and sealing the wood would give it a more finished appearance and might also help reduce the friction.

I absolutely love this embroidery stand. People have pointed out that the pillars don’t slide easily because the track is a bit rough but mine isn’t bad at all and that friction prevents the pillar supports from sliding easily working with the lockdown nuts on the underside of the pillars. I love the tray too as it offers a place to put your supplies and acts as a great balancing of the entire embroidery stand. I looked at many of those being sold on Amazon and decided to order this one and I’m glad I did.
