Love the Hawaiian outfit including sunglasses, but the Halloween one isn't as wonderful
This review is for the set of 2 porch goose outfits, one summer Hawaiian and one for Halloween. I like the Hawaiian outfit much better, even though it only includes 3 pieces and no actual “clothes.”
See my photos, please! For the first three, I put the lei (garland) around Goosey (that’s what I named my porch goose … I was tired) but it felt WAY too big so I basically tied it twice and it fit great that way – the second photo is a closer look at how lovely she looks! The lei is very colorful, the straw hat is great for protecting Goosey’s head from the brutal sun (LOL!), and they both just look very fun to me. For the third photo, I remembered to put Goosey’s new sunglasses on her, and I love them! They stayed on OK, although if I were to leave them on I would probably use some tape to make sure they didn’t fall off.
Next I tried the Halloween costume, and I was less impressed. I tried to match the listing photo, but you actually CAN’T – the bright orange Halloween bag for candy (although Goosey doesn’t eat candy) does not hang easily from her beak (the listing photo, likely AI-generated, shows it on the end of the goose’s beak but it would never work there); I had to push it far back and again, if I were to put this outfit on her for next Halloween, I would have to tape it as otherwise it would fall off very easily. The listing photo also makes it look like the goose’s eyes (or even the Halloween sheet “eyes”) are much lower on the goose’s head – and clearly visible – than they can actually be. The listing photo also doesn’t show the elastic that you have to use to put the hat on your goose – it will be visible. That’s not a big deal to me at all, but again, your goose won’t look at all like the goose in the Halloween costume in the listing.
Overall 4 stars because these seem to be well-made (even the Halloween pieces seem very durable to me, with no loose threads or anything) and and I will enjoy using them on Goosey. At the current price of $18.99 (as of 4/10/26), that’s almost 10 bucks each for the 2 costumes, which seems expensive to me for what they are; the 8 costumes for $59.99 is actually a better deal, and your goose may be worth that splurge if you like to dress her up for holidays or seasons!
From Beachy to Spooky - This Goose Set Does It All!
This 2 piece porch goose outfit set is seriously adorable. Everything is surprisingly well made for something meant to dress a porch goose – and it definitely exceeded my expectations!
Hawaiian set:
This one comes with sunglasses, a hat, and a lei. The lei is soft, colorful, and looks great in person. There were a few loose threads, but a quick shake took care of most of them. It’s long enough to double (or even triple) wrap, which gives it a fuller look.
The sunglasses are such a fun detail – I love the blue-green tint. They don’t fully cover the eyes, but I’ve had others that didn’t fit, so I wasn’t bothered. Even straight-on, you still get the full “vacation mode” vibe.
The hat is very well done and actually impressed me the most. It has two ways to secure it – an elastic strap and an adjustable fastener – so it stays put and adds to that beachy look.
Halloween set:
This one includes a sheet with felt eyes and a cutout for the beak, a witch hat, a felt pumpkin, glue dots, and safety pins.
The sheet is soft but still feels durable, with plenty of fabric to fit different goose sizes. Once I added the witch hat, it helped secure everything and closed the small gap around the beak nicely.
The pumpkin is super cute and can hold lightweight items like candy. Mine had a tiny hole in the front, but it didn’t really affect the look. You can attach it to the goose or set it nearby with a little weight inside.
I’m assuming the glue dots and safety pins are meant to help adjust and secure everything, though there weren’t instructions included.
Overall, getting 2 full outfits with accessories makes this feel like a great value! Both sets are well made, fun, and totally transform the look. These are definitely something I’ll keep in rotation throughout the seasons!

Both outfits fit my 23inch porch goose well and stay in place even on windy days. The fabric quality is great for an outdoor goose display, and the colors are vibrant and eyecatching. They’re easy to slip on and off, making seasonal decorating quick and fun. If you enjoy dressing up your porch goose or want to add a playful touch to your outdoor space, this set is a delightful choice.
If you don’t have a porch goose, you are missing out! All the fun outfit options and being able to decorate for every season, party, event, comedy set, and even politics with a simple outfit you throw on a goose by your front door. Whoever thought of this was a genius.
Two cute, seasonal outfits
This is a great deal because you get 2 cute outfits — one at Halloween and the other during the summer.
When the weather is warm and sun is bright, the Hawaiian outfit will bring tropical vacation vibes to your porch. The colorful floral lei, wide-brimmed straw hat with cinch-up chin strap and colorful mirrored sunglasses set the mood. The glasses can be a little tricky to stay on, but try tucking the arms inside the straps for the hat to keep them in place.
The not-so-scary ghost costume will have your goose ready for the trick-or-treaters. The sheet has some decent weight so it will stay in place and not get caught up in the winds. The hat is rigid enough to keep its shape and has an elastic chin strap so it stays in place. And the pumpkin bag can either hang off the peak like pictured using the included sticky pads (or tape) or you can just set it next to the goose.
