Camera
I was impressed by the small size of this camera. It’s relatively compact and easily fits in the palm of your hand. Turning it on and off was very simple. It’s very easy to see through the screen and I thought the quality of the camera was good for the price. It comes with the number of accessories, including the case that is designed for some action if you want to take this hiking or something like that. Seems pretty simple and easy to use overall. Charging also seems to be a relatively simple and straightforward process
Great camera
wow the view with this camera is fantastic, love the screen to watch as u record! the app is also very easy yo use and continuously records in 3 minute videos doesn’t skip in-between. Thats very helpful while recording training sessions.
Perfect camera for me
This camera came out perfect to help me record my barbershop videos I always like to take photos or record videos after I do a haircut and well as it is I can use it on the necklace that already includes the shots are more perfect and the 4K quality is spectacular I liked it very much
Small and rugged POV camera
The Vauvinmaic 4K camera is a small point of view camera. Unlike other POV cameras I have used, this one has a small screen at the back with useful indicators to show which mode the camera is in and when the camera is recording. The front of the camera has the fixed lens focused on infinity. An LED shows the status of the camera when powered up or when charging. On the right side are rubber buttons that are firm and perform different functions. A long press on the top button powers up the camera. A short press when powered up, starts the recording. The bottom button also has a dual function; a short press takes a photo and a long press turns on the built in WiFi host. The WiFi allows the Viidure app to connect to the camera. This is useful for functions like vlogging where you are in the front of the lens but need to confirm that you are in the video frame before recording. The flat base of the camera allows you to place it on a table without the need of a tripod. The camera comes with a 64GB SD card which can be replaced with a higher capacity card up to 256GB. Recordings do get written over when the camera runs out of space on the SD card. The built in microphone is very sensitive and produces good quality audio recording.
Included in the kit are several accessories that will help using the camera for handsfree POV. The easiest to use are the clip-on holder and the magnetic necklace. I do not like the clip on because the camera can be easily bumped out of the holder. The necklace has a powerful magnet that holds the camera to the pendant but I have also dislodged the camera accidentally. I like the waterproof case which holds the camera in a transparent and snug case that can be sealed. I will try the waterproof case when I go snorkeling. Another mount allows the camera to be held on a bicycle handle bar. The waterproof case or the handlebar clip can be mounted easily using the included connectors.
Connecting to WiFi using the app was easy. I did have some trouble connecting the USB-C cable to my Windows 11 PC but I had no problem connecting to my Windows 10 laptop and my Ubuntu desktop machine. There is a USC-A/USB-C to USB-C cable included in the box. The image quality is good. The default video format is TS but this can be switched in the app to MP4. The video quality is 4K@30fpsand I can see the slight glitches when I moved the camera when recording. If the camera is stationary and recording the scene, the glitches are less visible. I am going to use this camera for vlogging and also test it out as a PC webcam.
Good Quality
To be honest, this camera really surprised me. It’s super small and lightweight, so you can take it anywhere without it getting in the way. The 4K quality looks quite good for its size; the videos come out clear and with good detail.
